    Road-trip to Bearizona
It's a nice place to take the kids to spend a few hours. Suggest going to the park first then do the drive on the way out. Animals seem well kept and the place is clean. Good family road-trip destination.

    Bears and more
This place was recommended from a friend. I saw some videos on you tube, but were not impressed. Glad we went. We saw lots of bears (and other animals) and they were right outside our car. We went around 2pm. Most of the animals were out and about and not too busy, we didn't feel rushed through.

    A good animal attraction
I’d recommend spending a few hours here. Interesting concept where you drive through the 3-mile loop to view animals in their environment. You will see a lot of bears. The animals all seem oblivious to the vehicles. You are allowed to drive through the loop as many times as you would like. It’s recommended to at least drive through twice because sometimes the animals may not always be close to the road. In addition to the drive-through experience, there’s a small zoo that you walk through to see additional animals.

Close ups of wildlife you might not get good looks at in National Parks
We were just driving by on the way to Winslow when we saw the sign and decided to check it out. We really enjoy wildlife and visited both Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks this year. While we were fortunate to see bears in both NPs, they were a bit far off. so we thought maybe see them closer in Bearizona. And sure enough! They have around 40 very cute healthy appearing black bears that are easy to see and photograph along the drive through road. In addition, there were other animals that one can see far away in Glacier and Yellowstone: mountain goats and big horn sheep again right along the road. We also saw a couple wolves (but maybe a different race than the ones at Yellowstone); these were labeled "tundra wolves". Some unusual white (cream color) bison and mule deer stag walking along the road, again great photo ops. There is also a walking part that we did not have time to see so we'll have to go back!

    Glad we stopped here!
We found about this while driving to the Grand Canyon and were glad we did. Driving through the safari part was very interesting. Got very good close up views of the black bears, bison, wolves, elk and pictures. Not crowded at all - we went early in the morning + bought our tickets while on the road. Walked through zoo park area which was also very good with several exhibits where you could see the animals close up. Brown bears were especially interesting - Park guide gave a very good talk, too. Even enjoyed the store/tourist shop - nice selection and not bad prices. Plenty of restrooms and parking. Surprised we did not hear about this before? Definitely worth a visit.

    Friendly, fun, and bears 🐻
This place is amazing, the animals have a very good and happy home here, and plenty of space to roam around. The animals are friendly loving. There is a drive-thru zoo and an exhibit where you can walk around. There are multiple stands where you can buy beer, cider, and hot cocoa.

    Highly recommend
Brilliant visit to Bearizona. We saw so many animals and they all seemed so well cared for. Staff, restaurant and gift shop were all excellent too. Really can’t fault it as somewhere to spend a few hours. We all loved it - family trip with 3 children aged 12, 12 and 14.

    Teen & tween Family visit
Doesn't disappoint. Go early in the morning. We did the drive thru twice and got the best experience on the 1st loop before the animals retreated a little more. Bears were walking the streets and napping in trees so don't forget to look up too.

    Stopped on a whim!
Bearizona was amazing! We decided on a whim to stop here on our drive from the Grand Canyon to Death Valley and we are so glad we did! The Animals were active and close to the drive. The walk through part was nice as well. Very clean and the people were very friendly!

    Fun for the whole family!
Our visit to Bearizona was a fantastic experience for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals. It's worth mentioning that some sections feature two lanes. What made the visit even better is that you can go through as many times as you like.

My husband and I stopped here on our way into Vegas from Williams. It was $25.00 for each of us. There is a drive through section where you will see the bigger bears, wolves, reindeer, and bison. If your going in the summer, I would recommend you get out there before 10:00 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m. We got there close to 10:15 a.m. and the majority of the animals were just starting to nestle into their caverns for the day. The wolves were still out and some of the bears were still waking around. The bison were out but they were mostly huddles in groups sitting down. We still got some great pictures. The walk through section of the park was nice as well. They have bathrooms, a restaurant and gift shop area as well as some smaller animals to see. The smaller bears were very lively and we got good photos of them playing around. The jaguars were sleeping in the little caves. The peering zoo part was closed due to COVID but you could still see the goats and sheep. There are water filling stations near the bathrooms and they also have little beer, water and juice carts by the otter area. The gentleman at the entrance was very nice and informative. I didn’t catch his name but he knows a lot about the animals. I would definitely recommend checking out the park if you are in Williams.

***I would strongly recommend getting a car wash before you come so that your windshield and side windows are spotless to take clear photos/videos.

If you’re in Flagstaff/Williams area, you must stop by Bearizona! It’s like being in the African safari but in your own car with the windows up.

Admission cost $35 per person during the weekday. Senior or military discounts takes off $5. Their hours vary. Check their IG for real time data. I had planned for over a month and when I arrived at 4pm, they were closed yet their website was not updated. I checked their IG and turns out, they changed their hours for the season that went into effect that day.

The drive thru course is 3 miles and you go super slow. We saw reindeers blocking our path and coming up right beside the driver’s side. I’m praying that their antlers doesn’t hit and scrap the car. Heard wolves howling and running beside our car. Saw bears in their caves. So much wilderness that you’ll need to experience yourself.

Follow the path and pay attention to the side paths that will see “Enter” or “Do not Enter”.

When you get to the end, you can go back again as many times as you like. Or there’s a walking pathway once you park your car. More animals to see and restroom facilities.

There are a few eateries like the cafe, food truck or sit down. This place is incredible. The gift shop is enormous. Walk area is paved, handicap accessible.

This is a place you will want to visit and revisit often. No matter how often you are there you will see things you’ve not seen before. The animals are amazing and the park is so well cared for, as are the animals. It’s an experience to see them in as close to their natural habitats as you can get without going on safari somewhere in the world.
The guides are knowledgeable and many as entertaining as the animals.
If you’re lucky, you’ll see some babies feeding or bears sunning themselves and digging for cool spots to lay their big furry bodies.
Don’t miss the bird show if you’re there for that time frame. It’s not long but very informative and fun. Watch out for low flying raptors!
First you drive through the park and can actually touch SOME of the animals. It is clearly noted where it is ‘windows up and doors locked!’ Then you can walk around the other half of the park and see some wonderful creatures...bobcats, more bears, Javalinas, foxes etc.
A MUST for the whole family. Then visit the gift shop...some nice items there too as souvenirs.

I do enjoy these type's of parks and I did compare this park with the one in South Dakota (not the same name). Bearizona is a let down. Too crowded and this was on the drive through; for a 3 mile drive it took more than an hour. Not to many animals to see on the drive through, I, then went into the park and it was very crowded and a number of the pens were either closed or under construction. I'm looking at it as bad timing. But for the cost of $25.00 which goes to feeding and grounds up keep I'm willing to over look it or not.

Bearizona itself is worthy of a 5 star recommendation but we went on a Saturday afternoon and the traffic during the drive through the wildlife area was bumper to bumper. It took almost 2 hours to drive through a little less than 3 miles. In spite of MANY signs to keep moving, roll up your windows, etc., many people were stopping for long periods of time with windows down to get the PERFECT photo of the animals, thus holding up the 3 mile long line of cars behind them. Bearizona staff really need to be more proactive in keeping the cars moving. I was worried about overheating my vehicle which took away from viewing the animals.

One of my favorite place to be! The weather is always gorgeous and there is always something different to see.

The animals are content and cared for, that is obvious. Lounging around and not stress pacing.

The restaurant makes a great place to take a break to eat (recommend pulled pork on Texas toast, just saying) and refuel.

Impromptu trip to Bearizona! Who knew we would come across this fairly new gem... They have been open for about 5 years now. Heading towards Grand Canyon we saw a long line of cars and we decided to see what all the fuss was about.

Enter at your own risk. There are many signs up saying they are not responsible for damage to your vehicle because animals will and have come very close.

What a fuss it was. Who wouldn't want to drive through a wildlife park in the comfort of your very own vehicle?? About 20 bucks an adult and we were able to drive through the gates of cute little (well not so little but hey) furry animals. The animals are able to roam freely in their natural habitat - minus the cars. Turn off your music and be amongst the cutie patooties. We saw sheep, wolves, bison, bears and many more! My absolute favorite was seeing the beautiful wolf come so close to my car and grazing it. Felt so surreal! Also, seeing the bears climb trees and splashing around in the water was amazing.

Once you are done with the 3 mile stretch you come to a parking lot and you can either choose to leave or walk through the park where they have food, a beautiful newly renovated gift shop and more animals!

My husband and I had some time to kill before hotel check in. $25 per person was a little steep but we decided to do it anyway. We drove through, saw the animals, most were sleeping but visible. Bears were active. Walk through area was cute with a lot of animals. Definitely good for families. We're happy to support any business during this pandemic, so no regrets.

A fun day out. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There was a bird display but the bird flew out of the area and the handlers had to go and find it. The drive through was amazing. Most of the animals were so close that pic were easy to take. Although there were several places to get food, most of them had no bottled water left so I would recommend taking your own supply. Other than that, it was a lovely day out.

Man I'm really torn on this one. The effort to have a nice wildlife exhibit is obviously there but it was incredibly expensive for what it was. It was a hot day as well, which kept many of the animals seeking cover, which I can't blame them for that. The drive thru bear exhibit was really cool because they were moving a lot. they have a drive thru area and a walk thru area....you need to get both to get your monies worth.
If you have no limits on funds and have the time to go on a cool morning when the animals are all moving about, it may be worth the visit, other wise I'd probly save it for another time.
