Nice little zoo allowing lots of room for the unreleasable animals found in the surrounding area. The eagle aviary is beautiful. On the grounds are also examples of hogans. Picnic benches too.

We saw coyotes, bears, bobcats, mountain lions, roadrunners, rattlesnakes, foxes and many other local animals. The zoo is small but clearly the folks who run it take care of the animals they best they can with the resources they have. I have been to many...More

The outside park at this zoo has a nice walkway and natural habitats for the local animals. The very small inside part of the zoo was disappointing and antiquated.

This is a great zoo to visit and we loved the Navajo stories linked with the animals. We learnt a lot. It is definitely worth to visit. The museum is free for everyone to enjoy. Keep the good work.

This is a great zoo. Focusing on native animals, each exhibit is accompanied by an explanation of how the animal is important in Navajo culture, making it a truly unique experience. It is somewhat small so there is no endless walking in order to see...More

A great complement to the museum, it's kind of impressive how many animals they have. Most of the enclosures also appear to be big enough for the natural habitats with the exception maybe of the bear, who seemed to be a little cramped. The indoor...More

Wonderful collection of exhibits that describe not only information about the animals but also the place of the animal within Navajo culture. While from the outset, it's not clear if there's much there, this place is a gem.
