It would be better if they listed this under the heading "Robert G. Fowler Statue and adjoining museum in restaurant ". Or something to that affect. You wouldn't know there was more to just the statue and plaque unless you read about it here on Trip Advisor. Statue of Liberty.....now that's what I consider an attraction. The Statue of Robert G. Fowler.....not so much.

I got information (numbers) to find a geocache on a nearby parking structure. This is the spot where Fowler landed the first airplane to land in Arizona.

I learned about this place through geocaching and wanted to stop here for both the geocaches that could be logged and to learn about the bit of local history. It is a nice statue and memorial to a very early pioneer in airplane development. Nice to see local spots like this remembered
