There is almost too much to integrate. Set in periods, the Native American culture is carefully displayed epoch after epoch. We got a little lost in the many rooms and displays. Suggest you plan a leisurely pace and a little more time than you first thought. Good museum store too.

We came to Bentonville to see the Walmart museum. This place was a lucky find. Lots of artifacts, well displayed. More arrowheads . The staff was friendly. And out front we got to search for arrowhead to keep!

Our hotel suggested we see this museum and it was a great recommendation. The extensive displays are so carefully organized and printed info in the display cases was clear and easy to read. I thought the focus would be just native Americans in the Arkansas area but many objects have been gifted or on loan from North American sources. It... More

I love anything Native American. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and amount of exhibits in this place. We were here for about 4 hours. If you like arrowheads you will love this place.
