Cosmic Cavern was discovered in 1845, but wasn'€™t developed until 1927. The cave features a 9 foot soda straw the longest known in the Ozarks, and two bottomless lakes. One of the lakes was discovered in 1993 in the "Silent Splendor" section which made national news. This was Arkansas’ most delicate discovery. Make sure to bring your camera! Gift Shop, Snacks, Picnic area and camping available.

Our tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgable. My boys loved it. This was their very first cavern tour.

We were on vacation in Branson and decided we should check out something in Arkansas to say we had been to Arkansas. The idea of a cave tour appealed to everyone, so we went to Cosmic Cavern. The tour itself was ok, the tour guide had a lot to say and after a while it got a bit overkill. The... More

The best thing about this was the experience of actually being inside a cavern. The tour hide was great. Informative and patient. We weren't really warned that the stairs you have to use inside are steep and narrow. Just he ones leading into it. We were told it gets warm inside. But you should be warned that it can get... We had such a good time touring this cave! It was my son's first cave and he said it was much more fun than he had expected. They have two lakes, and the best part is the fault line you can see looming as a large crack above you. Lisa, the guide, was great too!

The cavern is simply amazing! The clear and beautiful bottomless lake inside is incredible. It was 20° outside but 64° inside the cavern. The soda straws are something to see. The cavern is a total 5, but our guide was very loud and over the top, took away from the overall experience itself. But definitely worth seeing!

This was a beautiful cave! Also, extensive, as it spanned a long, vertical distance. Excellent tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgable. The entry fee was reasonable, too. Highly recommended.

An interesting and fun tour. This one has several clear "lakes" inside. Very pretty and still being explored! They offer an adventure tour as well! It's for those with more agility and the fearless! Rope climbing involved. Real spelunking! The rare and delicate helictite formations can be found here! Cosmic cavern also has a gift shop, restrooms and a small... More

Cosmic Cavern is a scenic cave with a fine variety of formations. It is privately owned, and the owner has done a great job making it a worthwhile, rewarding experience. We visited the cave on a hot August day, making the 60 degree in-cave temperature quite refreshing. We have visited quite a few caves in quite a few states, including... More
