Really good couple of hours spent looking at The trains and novel carriages in the sidings. Shame that they have started charging on the main car park

Came here in June with my family for a day out my nephew is obsessed with trains he had a amazing time little gift shoPs to brows around and a all around great atmosphere

Lovely way to spend a day, the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. There really isn't anything else as great as a steam train journey and there are plenty of wonderful walks to go onto if you choose.

Adult £6.50 pp. Concession £5.50. Child over 3yrs £3.50. The railway website will give you full details of special events and prices.

I think they are open during school holidays during the week but normally there main open hours are weekends as far as I no but you can definitely walk around and view the engines at weekends there's a little coffee shop... More
