Located outside the Ribe Cathedral, the Ansgar-statue is a work of art. Interesting to visit, especially given that i was staying at the Hotel Ansgar in Esbjerg.... Worth stopping by to vitit if you're in Ribe.

The statue, next to Ribe cathedral, is not of my taste, but opposite of it is a very interesting excavation in a modern building showing the first cemetary for christians in Denmark.

This statue of the first bishop in Denmark should be placed in a museum of modern art. It's a strange intellectual interpretation of christianity and far from nice to look at.
