Easy to visit. You can circumnavigate it easily in under 10 minutes. Quick stop with impressive views. You’ll get some great pictures at any time of year.

You literally only need about ten or 15 minutes here. It’s just another tick in the box for all the things to see around Iceland. There are no toilets and nothing to eat here it’s literally a quick stop take a picture and then move...More

It was a quick walk around. It’s a little fun trip worth 400isk. We were able to walk on the bottom as it was frozen but it is slippy! Doesn’t take too long and not far from the main highway

Not often you get the chance to look directly into the bowels of a volcano, and this crater is almost perfect in shape. 490k to get in but worth it to walk the rim and get some spectacular views both inside the crater and the...More

If your passing then pop in and have a look. There is free parking but you pay for entry. One of the only attractions where you have to. You can walk down to the frozen water but be careful the steps down are slippery.

Depending what time of year you are going, it could be too dark to see much. Kerid is on private property and is open to the public for a fee. I would respect that and only visit during their hours. Visit their Facebook... More
