Absolutely fantastic beach, would be one of the best surfing beaches in Ireland. I regularly use my sea kayak here and go out to see the wildlife which is spectacular. There are numerous Dolphins, Basking Sharks and Seals to say hello to.

Drive on to the beach but park in the Erie nearest the land. Tide comes right up. Wonderful to walk along. It is a very long beach but shallow with waves. I love Rossnowlagh.

Miles of clean sandy beach, some car parking permitted on beach but make sure you’ve checked tide times as many get caught out! Access roads are narrow and most visitors park sporadically along roads which can be frustrating when busy. On nice weekends the place...More
