Walked from concreted parking area at Ballyshannon end of walk to Creevy pier. Appreciative of farmers granting access to their land. Good footwear needed. Terrain varied. Fabulous views. Great initiative by local group to open up this walk.

Only walked a small portion of the path to stretch my legs. Rossnowlagh Beach is beautiful, another Irish beach gem. The wind was brisk and cold, so my walk didn't last long!

A great walk with beautiful views of sweeping strands and endless sea but the route underfoot was heavy going at times and I spent more time looking downwards to check footing that up at the views.

We did this walk and it was stunning, no doubt about that. We were both physically well able and not hampered in anyway. I would say this walk would not be for a person without sure footing and you most definitely need the correct footwear....More

This is a lovely long walk and easy to do. It seemed quite busy as well. If you're a walker like me, then I'd recommend you take it and then call into the Sandhouse Hotel or Smugglers Creek for some refreshment!!

I've done this walk so many times it's beautiful! Refreshing sea breeze and breath taking views! Can get a bit wet in places so wear appropriate footwear!
