You don't have to be in great shape to hike the Diamond Hill. On a fine day the views are spectacular! The trails below the Hill are worth taking if the peak is clouded over. A lovely way to spend a day.

On a good day the climb is worth every step. The views from the top are truly breathtaking and are a great introduction to the beauty of Connemara.

This was the highlight of my trip. The walk to the top is no joke but as long as you have good shoes and take your time, you'll get to the top. We took about an hour to reach the summit and the views are...More

Lovely walk with great views. Was a little bit of a challange and had some steep parts. Took about 2,5 hours including stops.

I am 64 with two bad knees and I don't like heights but I persevered...I focused on the steps in front of me and made it to the top and it was worth every step. The good news for me was the decent was much...More

Not an easy climb, but the vistas are well worth every single step. I wouldn't want to do it if it was raining, as the steps are not too close together and could be pretty slippery/hazardous if wet. Well marked trail, and the view from...More
