Easily got to from well signposted road in lower Enna. Plenty of parking. Large castle remains, well kept and with the most spectacular views from top of the tower (steps). Well recommended.

If going to Enna, this old castle is definitely a must visit. Plus the amazing views from on top of the tower, it's free to get in......

Undeveloped, free entry, great views, small interpretive display. Enna is a great place to visit, mad high, very evocative.

There is not much to see, however the view on top of the tower is AMAZING! Considering it is FREE to enter, it is definitely worth a visit.

Some of this very large castle have been renovated and other parts not. There is one tower that you can climb up via a rather steep set of steps and the view from the top is rewarding.

This castle is very well preserved. The views from the top of the castle are unmatched. We were here the first week of May and practically had the place to ourselves. Parking was easy to find, and the castle grounds are free to the public....More

It's an open castle, not a great deal to see but head on through and climb the tower for some really good views on the surrounding area.

Good views of the countryside, but the castle is not all that magnificent, and the town of Enna was a big let down after reading the praises in the guide books. We went out of our way to tour here and were disappointed.

Enna is Sicily's prettiest hill town...and the Castello di Lomardia is the centerpiece, perched on the cragging hill, it overlooks the ville as protection from past invaders. Picturesque with ramparts, towers and weaponry...great photography ops.
