We used the gondola from Cota 1400 to Cota 2000 and it was a very pleasant experience. It is much nicer in gondola than with Telecabina.

Reading some people's reviews, I can understand where they are coming from but, I've got to say, I thoroughly enjoyed my ride: at 1400m, then 2000m. Yes, there are more spectacular views but this one is still pretty amazing. Nice restaurant, at the top. certainly,...More

We took the gondola up to 2100 meters and the sightseeing is breathtaking. Make sure to ask for the last gondola that is coming down, or otherwise you'll have to go down by foot.

It was an interesting experience. It is not in the center of the city, you have to take a walk for a while through the forest. You can arrive at Cota 1400 and Cota 2000 and back in Sinaia.

You can take a private tour by car from Sinaia to Piatra Arsa Chalet. (See page Carpathian Tour Guide on Facebook) There, at Piatra Arsa, you can have an easy walk to Babele, 1h. It is a beaten track.
