Nice castle to visit. Entertaining pictures. They have certainly not been painted by the best painters of Slovenië. It made them rather funny.

Visited the castle and most of the rooms are decorated with paintings. Some were very bad and/or the painted people were very ugly. We had a lot of fun discussing the looks of the nobility who once lived in the castle. Was a nice visit. Castle had some very nice views

The castle is in a beautiful location. Great views of the city and the Drava River. The exhibitions are interesting and rich in sights. The castle is easily accessible from the city. A short walk down a small slope.

This was a really nice castle and museum combined. It gave a a good insight into the local history and had lots of interesting artifacts. There was an interesting small folk museum near the entrance - had some very wierd traditional costumes in it You go around it in a loop though various rooms in the castle - quite well organised. There are also great views from the upper levels over the countryside and the town. The ground level also has a small cafe with inside and outside seating - can get busy though. Like a lot of things in the country, the entrance fee was very modest. A must-see place.

Good museum, can be done in 2 hours, inexpensive entry charge. Easy walk as it is the old town. Plenty of history in Ptuj
