Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

They are situated in the very historic part of the city. The discovery of these hot baths is the first actual proof of the location of Anticardia, the Roman city placed under the present town part, so when you leave the “Collegiate Church”, immediately at your right you will see the “Roman Baths”, from this place you have a magnificent view over this archaeological site, who look like ruins, but are really interesting knowing that this location dates from the early Roman times. They are thermal from the Roman age that were working from the second half of the 1st. century after Christ, until late in the 5th. Century after Christ, being reorganized and considerably repaired in the 3rd. century. Some pieces are well conserved.

There is not really much to see, but some ruins from 7-8 meters above looking over a railing along the plaza in front of St. Mary's church.
We only came across this spot after touring the Alcazaba and then heading to St. mary's church just outside the Alcazaba.

I was surprised to come across this site which was once a Roman bathhouse, now in ruins. You cannot enter the site but you can view it from above over a fence only a few metres away in the courtyard in front of a church. The most interesting exhibit (one supposes) is a mosaic floor that is not actually visible as it is covered for protection from the elements, but at least the cover has the mosaic design printed on it. Otherwise all that can be seen are the remaining low walls of the hot room, cold room, tepid room, toilet and changing room of the ancient bathhouse. So with a bit of imagination and knowledge of things ancient Roman, one can enjoy an overhead view of a public facility dating from couple of millennia ago. A plaque nearby explains all the various rooms etc.

The Roman baths (thermae) are dating back to 1st century. The ruins are closed to public and you only can have a look down standing in front of the Collegiata - there's also an information plate about the history of the baths and description of the areas which are visible.

There is no entry to these ruins so the best place to look down on them is from the walls of the castle. There is no real information at the site to tell you what looking at except a small map but it is still worth a look when you are up that far
