It's easy to get "cathedralled out" in Andalucia, but this is one of the best. The audio guide is excellent and interesting, and the interior of the central nave worth seeing. The trip up the tower is, however, something else. It's claustrophobic in places and...More

With so many fabulous churches in Spain this does not justify the entrance fee unless you are a professional church visitor

This was apparently named one of the 12 "Treasures of Spain" in a national survey. The cathedral is beautiful, with a tower you can climb to spectacular views. Also has a gorgeous cloister.

Worth a visit. You get an audio guide. It is worth getting but probably too much detail for me! Climb tower for a great view. 166 steps and the staircase is very narrow.

Surprising that such a small town as Baeza has such an impressive Cathedral. Well preserved and very large, one can see history unfold in this Church. Not to be missed!

The cathedral is one of the stonemason-architect Vandelvira’s works. Perhaps the most impressive details inside the cathedral can be found by looking towards the back where one can see the original narrow-span arch and the much wider span of Vandelvira’s work. The jump in scale...More

Baeza's main cathedral is definitely worth visiting. Be sure to use the audio guide to get in-depth history in the church and its many chapels and climb the 170 steps up the tower to get great views of the city.

We went in with just half an hour before closing, which doesn't give you much time to see all while listening to the explanations. I will say this needs at least an hour and then the visit will be worth it. It is not a...More

The cathedral is beautiful and imposing. There is an entrance fee of 4 Euros and for 1 Euro more you can have an audio guide.

quite amazing to have a cathedral in a small town like this and it has to be viewed in that light. Architecturally interesting with lovely paintings and generally impressive.

A museum and an active church means that you have to pay for entry if not visiting on a Sunday. Much of the interior has been restored, but it retains its charm.
