Nice and quite place to stay with families. However, if you wish to have more fun better stay in Nerja. The beach is also not the best... it wasn’t cleaned for days and the smell wasn’t the best

Punta Lara is a delightful urbanisation a short bus or taxi ride way from the centre of Nerja and the Balcon de Europe. The bus runs every hour and costs a euro - perfect, although we never did work out how to catch it back,...More

This is the second time we have stayed on Punta Lara in the last year. Casa Isabel overlooks the hotels, Nerja and the sea. Just outside of Nerja, but peaceful and great views.

As you leave Nerja on the N-340, turn right at the roundabout signposted Punta Lara and you’re into the development. Not sure it’s any different during summer months but in winter (visited February) it was desolate and had the air of being run down, with...More

We rented a villa on Punta Lara, it is a modern development which is very tastefully done. The architecture is a modern Moorish style and the villa we stopped in had stunning elevated sea views. A great place to stop.
