Caught the blue bus from Nerja to the Sunday flea market, only 1€ and the driver was hilarious, the bus ride was as good as the market. The market is a car boot sale but a bit more upmarket, pardon the pun. Lots of stalls...More

Ventured to the Tuesday market on our recent family holiday to Nerja and was expecting it to be much like Fuengirola market was back when we used come to the costa del sol 15 years ago (dusty, busy and roasting hot). We wandered to the...More

If you are in Nerja its worth a quick look around the market but dont get your hopes up... if its the flea market on a Sunday or main market on a Tuesday. Its not very impressive ... a lot of similar stalls selling similar...More

Went on a Sunday. Needed pants but there weren't any. Sunday is basically a car boot sale - Plenty of stuff but nothing you really want. I did contemplate a samurai sword that was on offer, but then remembered the trouble I had trying to...More

We went with an open mind, we both like local markets, but also realise you can get the same stuff on each stall! This was not the case in Nerja Market (Tuesday general market). Bought a couple of things but be warned the stall holders...More

Find fruit, shoes, bags, local porcelain and much more on the local market every Tuesday from 10-14 o’clock. You can park rather close to the market and if you need a handicap parking spot it’s possible to continue up the road to the market -...More

My recommendation is, don't bother. Spain old junk looks just st like Texas old junk. It's more of a giant garage sale with nothing of value. Wish I could have been there for the Tuesday market, which is supposed to be more crafts and produce.

We enjoyed this market , it was a mixture of local and tourist stuff, there were some good bargains on shoes and handbags. Also the local fruit and veg looked wonderful

Maybe I have been a bit spoiled experiencing the Market in Cabo de Palos and Malaga, but ..... it was a bit too messy and too much staff around you would not buy. Some good vegetables and fruits, but not so many producers and abundance...More

It takes about 30-40 minutes from the main road at the top of the town. It is a gradual uphill walk all the way. If you cannot walk to far a taxi would be best for you.
