Nice little beach, quite uncrowded. We bought ourselves beach beds a couple of times for the shade and comfort. Not something I have ever done before but will again.

Been here many times. Good verity of shops and restaurants. Try the front row of restaurants. Beach very safe for children. Lots of sun lounges. Very good cocktail bar on the back row.

Beautiful. Tranquil. Everything you want from a beach, even toilets about half way along between the restaurants.

Most lovely beach large and sandy with lots of room for everyone. The sea is lovely to swim in but it does shelf off quite quickly when you walk in and is suddenly very deep. This is why everyone generally congregates around the shallow part. This is not a problem if you are aware of this the beach has a... More

This is the best beach in nerja, but the beach isn't sandy it's made of small and tiny pebbles which hurt my feet. They are some restaurants and a few shop, but the second week in November the supermarket shut and so where some of the restaurants.

15 minutes walk from our hotel, in early March, there was not much of a crowd, and the weather was warm. The beach was a good place to be. A small supermarket provides all the snacks and picnic food you might want. Restaurants line the back of the beach offering good Spanish food at a reasonable price. We were able... More

We really enjoyed our days on this beach. Big breaking waves to play in, some decent eateries and a supermarket to grab some cheap ice cold beer. The hill on the way back is an absolute killer though - be prepared to pay for a taxi home!

Nerja is my favourite place to go on holiday! Burriana beach can be quite touristy, but is lovely for early morning runs before lots of people arrive. We did some stand up paddle boarding, fortunately the sea was relatively calm so it was easy to learn- i imagine it would be a lot harder if the sea was choppy! The... More
