Good points. Nice beaches .nice food.nice people in general.cheap food n drink. Bad points. Not many except one real annoying aspect, you cannot have more than 5 minutes peace on the beach or sitting outside anywhere without someone trying to sell you a knock off handbag or pair or trainers. Its bordering on an epedimic. Within 1 minute of arriving at the beach we had a queue of lucky lucky men and women over to us.this went on all day long .i am not exadurating one bit.thiswas relentless ..all day .handbags ..massage..junk in your face literally every 5 mins. Then go out in the main town that evening and same thing all night. In one hour while sitting outside a pub watching some outdoor music, my wife and my mother with my three teenage kids were approached 46 times..YES 46 times! As well as everyone else outside the bars and restaurants..and not one police manor woman in sight, anywhere! Pity this is tolerated..its complete harassment of tourists and nothing is done to stop this.what a shame as the town is perfect but we wont be returning because of this. Thanks .

We went out on a 4pm tour which is 2.5-3 hours. We had 3 adults and 3 kids...13 year old was in a kayak on his own (by his choice), dad & son in one and mom, 7year old and Grandma in another. The guide was great and the pace was nice and slow on the way out looking at the beautiful coast line. You stay very close to the coast and have lots of mini stops on the way out. You could go snorkeling at one point. My son and husband got sea sick and our guide noticed this straight away and called for the powerboat to come pick them up. Such a relief! The journey back was quite tough as there is no stopping. Pablo did offer to tow us with his kayak but we persevered and paddled ourselves back. Guess I'll have to get more fit for next year! Would absolutely do this again. Great value at €20 p/adult. I think the kids were €10 and the 7 year old was free.

Wanted to do a bit of sea kayaking while in Nerja and found Educare-Aventura on line and booked a 10am session this morning. Having checked in, paid my €20 and left my bag behind the counter for storage, we assembled on the beach for a quick lesson in paddling before donning life jackets and heading off. There was a choice of solo or double kayaks and everything was clean, in good order and generally "shipshape". The outward trip was along the shore towards Maro, going in and out of every passage through the rocks and under the overhanging cliffs. We paused for a swim off a sheltered beach then on to Maro bay where goggles were passed out by our guide and we could dive below to see the fish and huge (harmless) jellyfish. After this interlude we turned for home and paddled straight back to Burriana Beach. We were on the water for over 2.5 hours, accompanied by 2 guides, one in front and 1 following up behind - feeling very safe every bit of the way. The bonus was that our guide was continuously taking photographs and when we got back to the office these photos were uploaded (free) to our phones 10 mins after getting back. The sea was calm and crystal clear - and full of fish - all in all amazing value for €20. Highly recommend it. They operate from April to October and naturally each day is weather dependent.

Booked the 4pm trip with a guide, staff were very friendly, and well equipped with modern kayaks and safety gear. Was a great trip lasting about 3hrs kayaking east towards Maro, passing caves, inlets and waterfalls. Did about 7km in all, and would do it again, amazing value at 20Euros! Guide also took photos and shared via email.
