This could be beautiful if the tumbledown, derelict restaurant was done up, the rubble removed and the railings repaired. The beach is tiny with a cute little house right by the waters edge, near some large rocks. Fishing boats sit on the sand and there is some nice planting but it really needs some TLC. Such a shame.

Took a walk down to this beach as was just outside our hotel. The beach was a very short walk, however it was difficult getting down the hills as they were very steep. This was made more difficult by the loose rocks which could make you lose your footing so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. Once down... More

This is a very pretty cove but it has not been looked after and the cafe spoils it as it was not open when we were there and looks dilapidated.

Nice beach but looses sun late in afternoon. No facilities. OK for a swim or short sunbathe. Close to town for a drink etc. Bit steep for elderly.

A small sandy beach in Nerja. It is ideally located and close to the lovely town center and boulevard. Good restaurants and bars nearby.

We have walked on the beach, and it is very nice. But unfortunately the Papagayo café is now derelict. It is not good for the area, and should be refurbished of demolished. It is sad to see it like this.

This is a small and pretty crowded beach (even now, in mid-September), but it's right in the centre, so it's great for a quick swim. Also, water stays shallow as you enter the sea, so it's great for children (or for water frisbee!).

This pocket of beach is the best. Clear water and boulders/rock pools to explore. Balcon de Europa and Nerja Old Town nearby.
