Drove there expecting a nice piece of Roman history but in reality it is a Victorian period structure built to supply a now defunct factory. Not worth the trouble in my opinion.

From the pictures and the guidebooks. the aqueduct appears to be in a beautiful spot, however the reality is that it is sat between a motorway and an "A" road, and if you blink when passing you may miss it.

Quite spectacular when you look at it and very beautiful sitting in between the mountains. Great for pictures.

Passed by on a coach and it looked well worth a visit. especially after we found that it was an aqueduct and not a bridge.

Unless your walking quite difficult to see, couldnt find any option to park up and view so not easy to get any good photos

A really nice walk from Maro to this sight or from Nerja if you're super fit! It's quite spectacular.

A nice detour on our walk to the Caves or Maro, you can also stop on the main road and view from the road bridge

When you come from Malaga, drive over the bridge and just at the end of the bridge, there is a place where you can park your car

I agree with the other comments. You can walk it but under the hot sun it would be quite an ordeal. It would depend on where you are actually staying as to how far you would be from the aqueduct.
