Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tree lined, it is a charming avenue. Pedestrianised it has rows of benches on each side, encouraging added relaxation.
A grand monument is striking. Showing a female figure kneeling on one knee and holding foliage in her right hand over her head; a focal point in this segment.

Much like it’s much more famous namesake in Barcelona, the La Rambla in Figueres is a mainly pedestrianised street in the heart of the town. There's an endless choice of cafes, shops and restaurants that are ubiquitous the world over as well has plenty of independent shops. A nice place for a stroll especially as a dessert to follow the main course of the two Dali museums.
On the Rambla is also a piece of public art called the Face of Dali that worth seeking out.

La Rambla was revamped several years ago and is a wonderful place with a big square with restaurants on two of its sides. Evenings see locals seated at the many wooden benches placed around La Rambla. Also the venue for music concerts, antique fairs, public meetings etc. A super Catalan experience to be at an outside bar table watching the world go by with a cold beer in hand.

Mostly overpriced shops but lovely small roads. Many little cafes / restaurants and bars to choose from. A good way of spending half a day sightseeing. Look high up the buildings to spot the local architectural features.

This is a raised oblong piece of paved area in the middle of Figueres, with trees along the longer sides and plenty of seats. It is well shaded and relaxing.

This is a small pedestrian area in the downtown - nothing spacial. Some nice cafeteria and ice-cream places around. If you go there in the evening, majority of people around are newcomers from outside Catalonia and Europe. This is showing how the face of Catalonia had been changing over the past decade.

We had an hour or two to spare, we foot weary and a little hungry. We found a nice little cafe which made me a tasty omelet.

Way nicer downtown and ramblas area than I expected. Some higher end stores, nicer restaurants. I had overlooked figueres as a town, since I was going for Dalí, but I will plan to return.

This was the hang out spot in between museums. We enjoyed one of the cafes along La Rambla, then later grabbed a bench to watch some of the entertainment on the square.
