Interesting museum, but very little to see. If you are staying in the city, you should get a reduction on the entrance from your hotel. The main piece is in a class of its own, but the rest are less spectacular. Heath Robinson would have enjoyed it, but the whole exhibition fits into one school hall sized room.…

Firstly we had a stand up row with the lady on the desk as she refused to acknowledge the discount card we had been given by our accommodation hosts- be my guest.com- having checked in the tourist office that they were valid there.....sadly tourist office closed sat afternoon so when they rang her there was no answer. Eventually and very grumpily she threw our tickets at us.... Display is very disappointing, only one room, one massive exhibit which is great and about five small ones, some of which did not work. So at seven francs each it is rather a rip off.…

You could call him odd ball but this is a fun place to visit. Many of the art works are working models and you see them in action. Not mainstream art but an interesting outing. Visit for free with your Swiss Rail pass

Really enjoyable for all ages. Great fun to bring complicated contraptions to life by pressing a big red button. And Niki de Saint Phalle always raises a smile. There was a most interesting video showing which featured her work and her views on life - an early feminist. This rather well designed space is worth a visit in its own right. Not to be missed - although when we were there, on a Friday afternoon, we had it practically to ourselves.…

It's like walking into someone else's dream! A moment apart where time stops and the machines (sculptures) and the colours (Nikki) take you into their time frame. You'll need to be open-minded!
