Thoroughly impressed. Definitely recommend C2C Packhorse. I walked the C2C in September, self-guiding with a number of friends and all of us totally enjoyed it. We were very thankful for having the great support of C2C Packhorse. We wanted to walk over 17 days (including a rest day) and so we took C2C Packhorse's excellent advice regarding how to structure our walk. Pre-walk admin was good, and C2C Packhorse answered all our group's numerous questions - thank you! - they clearly know their stuff, have a good network and keep up to date. Always easy to contact, friendly and we were delighted to meet Mark when he popped in to our Sunday morning breakfast. The accommodation was just right for walkers, good, convenient, welcoming and Covid-19 aware. The baggage transfers appear to just happen, and our bags always got to our overnight accommodation before we did. Having met other walkers along the way who had made their own arrangements, we realised how good C2C Packhorse are, thank goodness we chose to use them. Using C2C Packhorse's services meant that we "only" had to concentrate on walking the 192 beautiful miles. Our OAP group all made the distance, and are delighted at our achievement. Thank you to Mark, Carina and colleagues for helping to make this possible.

Mark and all the staff at Coast to Coast Packhorse provide a first class service for walkers. Every aspect of my trip was well planned and I felt supported throughout by the efficiency of the transport service. The thrill and relief of seeing your bag already in your next B and B when you arrive cannot be overestimated. All the accommodation was of a high standard, and felt Covid secure, and the majority of hosts were aware of the needs of walkers, in particular, the welcoming cup of tea and cake. I would recommend Packhorse to anyone considering undertaking this challenging and rewarding walk.

Coast to Coast Packhorse provided an excellent service. We booked a self guided package, including accommodation, parking at Kirkby Stephen, drop off at St Bee's, baggage transfer and pick up from Robin Hood's Bay. The accommodation was varied and always very good to excellent and bags were always there on arrival. Admin prior to setting off was excellent and the route tips provided were very useful. Can definitely recommend C2C Packhorse.

Packhorse C2C rearranged all the accommodation for us, as we couldn’t do the trip in May as first planned. Our baggage always arrived before we did. The maps and info provided were fairly adequate. We had purchased a guide book, by Martin Wainwright (as it appens) but some of the details were incorrect in the book, like th e total ascent for the day, which is the basis we had planned our itinerary on. Not this company’s fault. We aren’t spring chickens, but have done trails before, so had a pretty good idea as to what we could manage. One day has 2 significant ascents and we could only do one. Sorry to all the purists out there, but we got a taxi from Grasmere to Patterdale. We also struggled a bit on the route, as no signposts in Cumbria, but they emerge in Yorkshire. Our book said it was well signposted. We should probably have relied on the App a bit more, that Packhorse provide. All the accommodation was absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t fault it. All our hosts had adapted well to the restrictions so everything felt safe and they provided us with everything we needed. We had some wonderful sunny days and the scenery was breathtaking; Ennerdale beside the lake, Patterdale up to Kidsty Pike were particular highlights, which we want to return and repeat. Thank you Packhorse C2C for all your commitment in making it happen, during the trying times of C-19.
