Once again a great visit to Kirkby Stephen east. Everyone is made very welcome. The station and carriage are accessible for wheelchair users. They're making huge improvements with trackwork and the new shed.

Great little attraction with loads of interesting information and artefacts related to the local rail network. It has a café in an old carriage and a shop, plus a couple of engines. I would love to return for one of their events one day.

This was more of a technical visit as I was there some time ago. Of all the many heritage railways I visit this railway makes future plans. Steel rusts outside so they build for that... And the Gresley coach is a master piece .
