About
A one-hour (apx) boat trip to see the seals on Blakeney Point Nature Reserve. We have reduced the number of passengers on each vessel. Private charters are also available. We will be taking all bookings in advance by telephone up to October and it is essential that you book as soon as possible as we are maintaining a reduced capacity. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Boat trip left from Morston Quay because of the tide at Blakeney, it was well run and organised and we managed to see so many seals, staff were informative throughout.

Excellent experience.
Really informative commentary from the skipper on not only wildlife but the geography and areas history.
Safety also first class and clearly articulated before we departed.
Highly recommend

We were having a weekend break in Norfolk in March, so booked a trip to see the seals on a saturday. Unfortunately, the weather was too bad, so they offered a refund or rebook on the sunday, although the forecast wasn't great. We turned up Sunday morning and the weather was slightly better than forecast, so we they went ahead with the trip. We had a full boat and saw lots of birds and some seals. The commentary was really good and they looked after the customers really well. We had a great time.

Thank you for the nice review. We have had to cancel several trips this year because of stong winds. I am glad we could accommodate you the next day instead ( thats why we always recommend booking a seal trip on the earliest part of your holiday- then you can do museums & country houses on the windy & wet days!)

Loved it - very smooth running service with pre booking, payment and then direction to the site from which the boat departs (short drive from ticket collection which if there was enough time you could also walk the coastal path to). Saw lots of seals and birds, plenty of room on the fully booked boat and very knowledgeable and friendly guide who was happy to answer questions too!
Would definitely go again!

We got lost on our way to collect the tickets, they waited for us to make sure we were able to go on our trip.
Guides were very knowledgeable, managed to find seals for us to see and have lots of information about the breeding numbers etc of the seals.
Smooth journey and great service.

Very efficient service, it’s really clear to pre-book and collect tickets at Blakeney in good time, then go to Morston for the boat. We were late collecting our tickets and missed that trip, but were offered another day - so the message is, do not be late, as the times depend on the tides! Anyway, when we did get on board the two guys on the boat were polite, helpful & kept us informed throughout. We saw plenty of seals, both on the beach & in the water quite near to the boat. Fantastic that we could take the dog too. Overall we really enjoyed it, highly recommended

We managed to do a last minute booking today with Bishops Boats. A fab trip out around Blakeney Point.
Booking was very simple and the friendly team guided us from start to finish. The crew on board the boat were brilliant, great information given and a friendly team. Would recommend using them when staying in Norfolk for a trip to see the seals. Fab day out, thank you 😊

Booked on the phone In advance and had an easy booking process. Informed to pick tickets up at blackeney quay and then a small drive to morston which can be walked but we had the car anyway. Arrived at the quay as advised 45 min before the boat trip. Lovely gentlemen where we paid cash and then made our way to morston. Parked and paid a very cheap fee. Lovely views and clean area. The crew were very friendly and we all got on the boat. A couple of late people but we waited for them The trip was lovely. Very wet so wear waterproofs or quick dry clothes. But we loved it. Sadly the seals being wild we’re enjoying the high tide and wasn’t on shore but we saw some in the sea swimming. This is at no fault to the company the seals are free to do whatever it’s a risk you take but you still learn about the seals and have a nice boat trip. I would go again either way. As a couple on holiday with car access over the next day we drove along the beach side and we did see seals clearer.

Please upon reading some bad reviews on here I hope no one ever knocks this lovely business they inform everyone of the ticket collection and boat site and how far away they are and it’s very clear that seeing seals is a privilege not a guarantee. Don’t complain if you don’t see them. Bring binoculars if you want to.

I loved it and I believe the workers there are fantastic. Thankyou so much

Thank you so much for taking the time to give such a lovely review, its much appreciated. I assume you got very wet because it rained. While the seals are a bit scarce at times we have not failed to them every trip so far this year.

Excellent one hour out on an open boat with 26 others and saw plenty of seals from as close as you could get without them being agitated..Wear the appropriate clothing for the weather.
We got our tickets at Blakeney quay as requested and had fortunately parked in the large free car park of the village hall as you then had to drive to Morston quay and pay for parking as the land is run by the National Trust…
Our guide on the boat was informative and knowledgable but never went into overload.
All in a great experience..thank you.

Thank you for a great review, seals are showing very well at the moment. You can just pull up on Blakeney Quay to collect your tickets without parking.
