    A must see experience
If you are facially hirsute or bald as a coot you really must have a visit. We have been waiting for a few years as we live so far away after but having met Capt Fawcett and his crew at Goodwood Revival we just had to arrange a visit. It was oh so worth the wait. Capt and his crew are so lovely and friendly and warm. We were so lucky to have Corey show us around and impart his extensive knowledge on all things 'beard & blade'. If we're ever in that neck of the woods again we'll certainly be back. We didn't get off lightly though. Managed to grab a new bottle Booze and Backy fragrance, some lovely Booze and Backy shower gel and some after shave balm. All to add to my shaving soap and dish. I think I'm an addict. lol.

Beards, bikes and beverages - what else could you need?
The Captain Fawcett museum is blessed with a curator whose passion for his collection is infectious. Captivating tales of exploration and adventure, history lessons and a behind the scenes tour - awesome. Beards, bikes and beverages - what else could you need? Also… wicked hair, Corey!

    Hidden gem in kings lynn
This is a hidden gem of a museum which is actually a thriving business behind the scenes, such an interesting collection. Staff very friendly and full of energy for the business. So many unusual things to look at and for those of you old enough there are things that you’ll remember, I’ll be back as I need more time

Popped into Captain Fawcett’s today with my mum as she has always been supportive and appreciates my efforts in moustache growing. Anna & Richie both made us feel incredibly welcome, very knowledgable with the museum and products, their passion and understanding of gentleman’s style was inspiring. Thank you.

Corey and Richard gave a very friendly, knowledgeable and personalised tour of this museum for us.
Both answered all our questions. Extremely helpful guys. Great host's. Offering tea or coffee and donuts (fab extra touch!) for a donation towards the extremely commendable make a wish foundation.
A very personable approach to how they go about their work and such a great thing to see passion brought to the work place. A world wide business with a down to earth approach was an extremly inspiring thing to see. More than happy hosts to show all areas of the business including the inner workings of the place and even Richard found the time to sign a copy of his book for me. A great memorabilia. Worth the drive, worth another vist. I'll deffinately be back in the future.

Absolutely worthy of a visit regardless of your interest. A collection noteworthy of a city museum all set into a stylish interesting and breathtaking realistic walk back in time. Easily spend 2 hours there and it's free. Plus these guys are huge sponsors of Make A Wish Foundation. Don't miss this marvelous emporium of antiquities from barbershop, and grooming, to motorcycles and more....

Recently visited Captain Fawcett's Marvellous Barbershop museum and we were totally astounded! We were fortunate enough to get the grand tour by Ritchie himself. This is the most incredible menagerie of barbershop related items, some dating back hundreds of years. We went in knowing next to nothing about the tonsorial arts, but have a newfound interest in the subject! The attention to detail is inimitable- you surely will not be disappointed. Please make the time to step into this incredible alternate world for an hour or a day!

Richie and his assistant Corey showed us around the most amazing barbershop museum, and what a treat it was. It was like walking onto a vintage film set with the most amazing array of ephemera including razors, shaving mugs and all matters related to Gentlemans grooming. The welcome was amazing. Thank God that eccentricity is still valued in this country! Well done Richie and Corey.

As the name suggests, Captain Fawcett's is simply Marvellous. The curious collections were a nothing but a pleasure to explore, their products were just as brilliant and The impossibly Unique feel of what essentially became a discreet museum instead of a beauty supply store is akin to nothing I, nor anyone else, have ever seen before. the staff are friendly and clearly have a passion for both the products and the collections.

We visited as a group and we were all completely overwhelmed by what we had seen. I will not spoilt the surprise but this is a must see visit. All the staff were amazing and very friendly. I will return with friends and family when they come to visit us. Thank you so much for a great visit.

First things first: The review I wrote back in August seems to have gone astray - what dashed back luck!
So here goes for the 2nd time: The Captain's emporium is a most fascinating and thoroughly astounding establishment. Full of artefacts from the world of tonsorial art and other curios.
The Captain's Right Hand Man and his able assistant showed the utmost courtesy when escorting the MemSaab and myself round.
Coffe and chat was also in good suppy; top hole Captain!
