- TrapperukNorfolk, United Kingdom39 contributionsLovely way to spend a day, young kids will love itLovely place, especially this time of year when the lambs making a lovely racket. Got a warm welcome from the reception desk and enjoyed a lovely coffee, served by a friendly face in the cafe, before heading towards a trip to see the deers. Leon gave a great tour and is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. after a chilly tractor trip really enjoyed a delicious warming jacket spud in the cafe, reasonably priced and plentiful. Took the kids to see the lambs afterwards, bottle fed them too. Lots to see and do on this farm, though the weather meant the play area wasnt used today by us. Well worth a trip, gonna return when it gets warmer for sureVisited March 2023Written 6 March 2023
- DebbieGibbo1Great Yarmouth, United Kingdom63 contributionsWONDERFUL EXPERIENCE1st visit to Snettisham Park and what a fabulous half day. The weather was unkind with light rain however this did not matter as most of the parts of the farm are inside. We booked a combined ticket with a visit to the working farm and Deer Safari. We were fortunate enough to see 2 baby lambs just being born and bottle feed 2 lambs too which was brilliant fun. You can walk freely round the barns/sheds and during our visit we saw ewes in one shed who had either had their lambs or due any day and also some that were expecting twins. We also saw ponies, pigs, cows and calves, llama, goats and baby goats, cockerel and chickens. The deer safari was great fun, you met back in the visitor Centre about 10 minutes before to collect a bag of deer food. We then boarded the covered trailer which is pulled by a tractor and driven to the paddock where there were many Red deer, stags and hinds. When you enter the paddock they run up to the trailer and you were able to feed them through the sides. The stags antlers were outstanding and it was amazing seeing these beautiful animals up close. The staff on the safari were Joseph who came in the trailer and gave a great talk about the deers including their names and about the farm estate and answered any questions you had and the driver was Gopher…..because he goes here and goes there. What an amazing experience. We are so glad that we visited this working farm as it was such a great experience with such polite friendly staff who are a real asset to the Park. We would definitely recommend it.Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 31 March 2023
- Aimee HM4 contributionsCould not recommend enoughI could not recommend Snettisham park highly enough. Both the tractor driver (Trevor) and guide (also Trevor) were fantastic. We learnt so much on the deer safari, so informative and very good value for money. It was so enlightening visiting a farm where the main focus was the care for the animals and not just about getting tourists money! It was wonderful to see how the farm considers the local area and keeping the farm as environmentally friendly as possible. I visited with 2 small children but would recommend the day to any age. I will definitely be visiting again, thank you Snettisham farm.Visited March 2023Travelled with familyWritten 31 March 2023
- Jesssterling15 contributionsGreat visit to feed the lambs!Lovely authentic farm- make sure you wear boots/wellies! Close up to the animals and able to pet/feed the goats. We were also able to give the lambs a bottle which was great. Nice tea room and a way to spend a few hours, we did the deer safari too and were able to feed the deer. Leon was our safari guide who was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 April 2023
- NaomiD4 contributionsAmazing deer safari!I had read some pretty poor reviews of this place so I was a bit apprehensive. Upon arrival we were impressed with the greeting and the look of the shop area and cafe. I'd seen reviews saying the playarea wasn't suitable for toddlers however I have to disagree. We found the playarea to be really lovely and entertaining for our 19 month old. We had booked the deer safari but were wary of our little one being entertained enough and sitting still however staff reassured us she would love it... they were right! She absolutely loved it! In fact we all did! If you're debating to take little ones on the safari, do it! The views were wonderful and the deer were simply amazing! So wonderful to get such a close up experience with them. Our guide and driver were both lovely, funny and very knowledgeable. We ate lunch in the undercover marquee which was a welcome shelter from the wind. The only part we were unimpressed with was the farm itself. Completely understand it's a working farm but it felt like there was no structure or much of a farm at all. Some cute calves and lambs but felt like someone had opened up their barn of animals for people to look at but at a cost. We felt we got not value for money on that part. We are also big tortoise fans having owned one ourselves and it was sad to see them with so little space, eating a diet of lettuce, tomato and cucumber which is the equivalent of a takeaway for humans (no nutritional value). So all in all, friendly staff, amazing deer safari, great picnic/playarea but let down by the farm itself. We travelled 1.5 hours so would need a bit more on offer in the future if we were to visit again, unless we were staying close by.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 2 July 2023
- Adventure8282066 contributionsA bit run down but still nicePretty good but much smaller than expected and a bit run down. Bottle feeding the lambs was a real bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could have used more time there as we arrived only an hour before closing. The kids liked the play area.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 26 July 2023
- Gillers4 contributionsGreat family fun!Absolutely amazing! If you are in the area or close by, this farm is definitely worth a visit! Trevor and the gang were so polite and friendly with a real love for all the animals! The ladies in the shop were really helpful in shuffling things around when trying to book my daughter onto the pony trek and deer safari. The ladies were so patient when doing the pony trek it made all the children feels so relaxed which resulted in a really enjoyable ride! Our daughter is normally scared of everything but she absolutely loved bottle feeding the lambs and hand feeding the goats and deers. We got there for about 11 and didnt leave until gone 3.30! One of the best days of our holiday! Well organised activities made for an effortless day. Cannot recommend enough!!!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 28 July 2023

Our son had bought us a buyagft voucher so we chose here to use it, had to email to book on - no problem, they are very helpful, Arrived early and had a cup of Tea before embarking on a Deer Safari. The breakfast also smelt good ! This is amazing and I felt very honoured to see these beautiful creatures close up and hand feed them, a lovely way to spend Saturday morning. - Ed FMilton Keynes, United Kingdom3 contributionsDeer feeding - very enjoyableI thought the deer feeding and safari experience was worth the money. Trevor gave an excellent commentary on the deer and other animals and also the history around Snettisham which was very interesting. Two children (12 and 16) and both enjoyed the experience. We didnt visit the rest of the farm.Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 31 July 2023

Wonderful place, had a great day today and learnt so much. This is a working farm so yes, it’s a bit rough in places but that’s how it should be! Staff are all lovely and really helpful, kids had a great time and I’d certainly go back.

Despite the rain this was one of the best experiences ever. The staff here are all so genuinely friendly. The tour out to the deer was great with our guide providing information on the general farm practices and pointing out areas of interest. Feeding deer from your hand? Well that was an experience to treasure.
Overall top marks. Café awesome and prices spot on.
A massive thanks to all for a great day. Not just for kids!

We are not from the area but often have weekends away nearby so we always visit the farm when we can. We have been here several times now and we always have a fantastic day. The deer safari is honestly fantastic, what an amazing experience. It's very rare to find somewhere around these areas to get up close to red deer so this is truly something special. The staff are really knowledgeable about the area and the deer and give you a talk on the way round, which is an added bonus.
The farm is clearly a working farm but everything is kept tidy and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. They have a range of animals, most of which you can touch or feed and they offer egg collecting, lamb feeding, pony rides and other experiences during the year. They even have a great play area for the children when you have finished looking at the animals. There is also a cafe which serves a range of good food and cakes and a little gift shop. We couldn't recommend this place enough.

As a family of 7 adults, 1 child and 1 baby we had an incredible day out at Snettisham Park. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our grandson and the adults really enjoyed feeding the lambs, the goats and collecting the eggs. There's also a really good play area with a sandpit. The highlight of the visit was the deer safari. The guide was very entertaining and very informative.
The food from the cafe was very reasonable but you could bring your own picnic.
We would really recommend a visit to Snettisham Park.

I feel as tho the outside area is not suitable for children under 3 as the climbing frame is very high and tricky. I took my nearly 2 year old and he wanted something to climb on but didn't feel as tho he was safe to be on the big climbing frame. Maybe a little mini tractor or something would be good for the smaller people

Snettersham farm is amazing, outstanding and spectacular, we bring our grandchildren each time, this was our second visit in the last four weeks, and we will be going again. The animals are just beautiful, the gentleman who does the deer safari is friendly with an amazing sence of humour. Doing the safari is an amazing experience and a half, the deer allow you to feed them, just beautiful.
Wish we lived nearer, we would go all the time. Infact I would want to work there, the animals are just beautiful. Oh and has a nice play park for little ones also. You can eat there or take a pic Nic. But worth every Penny.
Can’t wait to go again.

Came down to the venue with young children and family. To be honest was expecting a lot more. Not a lot of animals to visit just felt like you went into a shed and that was about it. Poor signage and the walkways were not very accessible. Pathways need to be cut. Overall a big disappointment.

Is the farm wheelchair friendly with disabled toilets please?
SnettishamPark
Snettisham, UK
Hi, the Visitor Centre is wheelchair friendly with ramps and a disabled toilet. Down the farm can sometimes be muddy, depending on the weather, but most of the time it's completely fine as we do have a lot of wheelchair users use the farm!
