Spent the morning walking our dog from the NNR car park, along the beach towards the very pretty, colourful beach huts close to Wells-next-the-sea (about 2.5 miles) and then back along the Norfolk Coastal Path. It was great: plenty of room for the dog to...More
A slightly muddy pathway (check tide times) takes you to one of the loveliest beaches on the East coast. With a coffee shop, but no rock shops or bucket and spade sellers, this is a beautiful, peaceful place to walk your dog or run your...More
It matters not ,whether it's summer or winter it's a very special place, it has always been said that the Queen has a beach hut on Holkham beach with a flag to be raised when in residence as quite close by is a naturist beach,...More
Love this beach, it's stunning all year round! Dogs welcome all year too with great walks along the coast path to Wells-next-the-sea and Burnham Ovary Staithe. Beautiful sand and shells for kids to collect. Great sand dunes and crystal clear water.

When I was there, there were horses that could be rented out. Two of them at least. It seemed kind of on an ad hoc basis. They were trailered in to the parking area. I don’t know how you actually arrange it, how much it costs, or if they are there everyday or just on summer weekends. Certainly on the beach there were hoof prints. And the two horses I saw looked in good condition, with a Thoroughbred look about them.
