Went for a pre Christmas gathering with the family - a walk to blow away the cobwebs. It was a beautiful morning and I recommend this for fit and active people and for couples and children. The wide sandy beach with the Pinewoods backdrop is beautiful and you can walk away to your heart's content. Wide, open and free -... More

Took out our dog for a walk on the beach. It's an amazing place with loads to offer. There is a lovely cafe and a joules (which is a bit odd place to have such a shop) the beaches are clean and expansive. People are friendly too.

Easy parking and then off you go and walk for as long as to want to. Miles and Miles of sand. Great in any weather and wonderful for walking the dog.

Amazing beach and forest. I like to pretend I'm an invading viking horde. My wife doesn't. I'm always optimistic I'll find part of King John's lost treasure in the sand. Nothing so far! The dog loves it. There's loads of space. Doesn't matter what the weather's doing. The Victoria opposite the car park across the road is really good but... More

Walking here is sheer bliss. There is plenty of parking well back from the beach and even a small mobile cafe if you need refreshments but most people just come for the wonderful Norfolk coast. It is so vast there is room for every one and all ages can enjoy the sea air in peace and quiet.

Lovely expanse of sand backed by dunes and pine woods - an amazing sight whatever the weather/time of year. We did a v long walk up to Burnham Overy and back. Shame though you have to pay for parking even in the winter when quiet.

Absolutely stunning beach. We parked on Lady Ann's Rd which is pay and display, coins or card 💳 (which we used and is so convenient if your like me and don't carry cash very often) Even though was a Sunday afternoon there was still two car parked attendants based in their hut but also wandering up and down the cars... This place is fantastic it is set well away for any dog meaning you can walk for miles without worrying about your dog. There is good parking and I would recommend the walk to the cafe and back.

absolutley disgusted by the collection of people who turned up to view the dead fin whale sadly deposited on holkham beach. Where is it? was the chorus from the chattering throngs-as though it was there for there entertainment.Awful behaviour. Beautiful beach , ugly people.

Miles and miles of sandy beach. DOG FRIENDLY In my opinion only just pipped by Wells-next-Sea beach down the road.
