We had decided to visit this as I always wanted to see Concorde which was the main attraction but there was so much more! There is 4 hangers which house all types of planes from all different eras. The Concorde is housed in its own hanger. The hangers are laid out in an old airfield with plenty of space to... More

Wonderful day out. The highlight for my wife was Concord - we were due to fly on her but 3 weeks before was the fatal crash in Paris so she was grounded. There were very few people when we visited, but as the site is so large, it can accommodate loads of people without too much fuss. The hangars are... More

I have been twice to the museum now and it was equally interesting on both occasions and I found there were things I had missed on my first visit as it's so vast. You cannot deny the impressive and breath-taking view of Concorde. It was amazing to see and to go inside and the audio guide was very informative and... More

Great museum which has lots of interesting exhibits including Concorde. Brilliant to be able to look inside so many aircraft and read about East Fortune's role over the years and especially during the war. Worth a visit for everyone

The last time I was here I thought it starved of investment. Well they seem to have found some funds because wow, what a difference. They have gone from what was a rather amateur attraction to a first class must -see WW11 airfield with everything including (yes!) Concorde. The displays are great and it is so interesting and enjoyable. If... More

This museum has been significantly extended in what it has to offer and although on a big site, transport is available between hangars. The museum suits all ages and children are catered for. We ate there too and the goodness good. To prevent free entry they have started a booth at the gate which results in a long queue. They... More

We went there for a family day out with our 3-year-old son. We had very good weather to start with. There is lots of space for running around and it is a very hands on exhibition, you can go into some of the aeroplanes, including the Concorde which also has a very interesting audio guide (free). The Cafe had a... More

This place is fab, with loads to see and do, the highlight being the concorde experience. Loads of interactive experiences, and loads for the kids to do. Great value if you take membership, which includes the national museum in edinburgh, and the rural museum. A great day out for all the family.
