Great fun. We have been a few times now and the kids love it as do we. The facility is well set up with parking, changing rooms etc. Will be back again no doubt!

The aqua park was good fun and there was plenty to go on but a few of the obstacles did need blowing up again as they had deflated.
I think the session we were in was almost fully booked but we didn’t really need to wait long to use anything so seemed like the right amount of people per session.
The staff were all quite young and not incredibly professional - not a problem for us at all but I’d maybe be a bit wary if we were taking younger children who might need assistance.
Overall we enjoyed it and it was actually slightly cheaper than other water parks in the area offering the same equipment.

Did both the FloRider and the Inflatable obstacle course in one day.
Booked fairly late and with 6 people, booking staff were excellent in fitting us in.
Flo rider reception staff were very friendly. (One called Hayden). The instructor (Aiden) was absolutely outstanding. Gave clear instructions with a friendly smile throughout and encouraged everyone to get the absolute most out of the session. He was a complete natural with the kids, who all loved the experience. The florider is great fun and Aiden took the whole experience to the next level of enjoyment. We were all laughing the entire session. Well worth the £25 fee.
The inflatable course is an absolute bargain at £15. An hour of fun physical activity whilst laughing constantly. There are 3 lifeguards watching over you but they allowed us all to mess around and have fun whilst keeping everyone safe.
All in all, an incredible day out that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return.

We arrived as a group of six at 12.30 ready for the 13.00 session. On arrival we went to reception and got our waivers all filled in. We were directed round for wetsuits and no one was in the wetsuit office, we waited and eventually gave up and had to ask someone then arrived. Wrong size was given for one of the wetsuits and when I went out to change it no one was there again, It took a further 15 minutes for someone to arrive to change the wetsuit. We then had a further 10 minute wait for life jackets. By this time we had already missed 15 minutes of our slot time, as I have been before I rushed round to the entrance and then had our safety briefing. Despite arriving early and being ready to go, we missed 15 minutes of our session due to staff not being where they should be. It was very disappointing as on previous visits we have been impressed but this time was a let down. It was also disappointing to see how much had gone from the park, although we still had fun it was a shame to miss so much of our time session.
* The above message I sent to the company Facebook page. This has been read by staff and they have decided not to reply or address any of my concerns. My review would have been a 3/4 we did enjoy the session we were able to do once we were on the water but shame staff didn’t know what they were doing. Since they have read my message and not acknowledged it that makes it only a 1/2.

Me and my son decided to go on the stand up paddleboarding, although it would be ok for first timers it was terrible if you are experienced, there was no fins, the boards themselves were battered and overall was a waste of money, I do not recommend using the SUPS because they are overpriced and is not fun, when I asked if I was able to use my own SUP they would not allow me because it hasn’t undergone a safety inspection, although I would doubt their boards would pass any inspection at all, if you tried to paddle on the boards you would almost do a 360 with one paddle, this is because there isn’t any fins, when I asked the staff why there wasn’t any fins and why the boards were in the state they were, I just got told they had become loose and some were in the bottom of the lake, when I asked why don’t you just get new boards I got hit with the old chestnut of ‘we have ordered them’ although we did not enjoy the SUPS my son went on the flow rider which he enjoyed very much the stuff was very good with him and very kind would totally recommend the flow rider as my son had a fantastic time on it, the staff also gave everyone the same amount of time on the boards which I liked. The food in the restaurant next to the flow rider was also excellent we had a lovely pizza and it was delicious, overall I feel like the SUPS are such a letdown because the flow rider was great fun.

I decided to have a go on the lake at Retallack Aqua Park having left my board at home due to the high coastal winds forecast. The lake itself was a nice quiet paddle being reasonably sheltered, perhaps 15 minutes from end to end (5/10 minutes tops if on a decent board) but other than that I wouldn't recommend bothering unless you are a first timer. The centre provide extremely battered/ worn hard boards with a non adjustable paddle and no fins. No reason was really given when I asked why the fins had been removed as all that obviously achieved was making it virtually impossible to track in a straight line. I was disappointed as having spoken to the centre before coming down, I was told that I couldn't use my own board and pay a launch fee due to it "not being risk assessed". Having seen the state of their boards I can't see that they would be approved if anybody were to inspect them. As an aside, I noticed whilst sat having a coffee at Porthcothan Bay that they hire out paddleboard's for £10 per hour. That is half the cost of Retallack Aqua Park and I could see their nice 'Red' inflatables stood in the rack, so I know where I'll be headed in future if I don't have my board.

Booked a four night stay here. Check in was awful. You’re meant to be able to check in from 4pm but at that time we were told that the cabin wasn’t ready. Over half an hour of waiting and queuing. Lots of other people having to do the same. Not what you want with a you family after a long drive. Not at all happy and would never stay here again. Also if you do book here then book the swimming far in advanced as we also couldn’t swim as it was all booked up.

Really disappointed we booked a long weekend away expecting it to be amazing as it’s rated a 5 star, The hot tub was a rip off you can’t get in until the day after you arrive because it’s not heated up their was no bbq the seating area outside was shocking! mouldy with two dining table chairs out the front nothing like the pictures, The jets didn’t work in the hot tub we were told they weren’t meant to which made no sense,we ordered takeaway which was a disaster it’s really badly run I don’t think the reception team really know what they’re doing which is a shame , overall it was ok but nothing like a 5 star resort it was just an average Stay.

A treat for a good report - and what a treat it was. Cleanliness, safety and real kindness, they made our boy feel magical and his smile lit up the sky. He was beaming, and we can’t wait to book again. Massive thank you to Mia and the team. We loved it. 👏👏👏 🤩😎

Will all floats on the aqua course be out and available at the end of may and also, if it rains will it still carry on or will it be cancelled?

Yes absolutely! The Aqua Park is great for kids aged 6 and above and every obstacle is suitable for the little ones.

Hello..I planning to come with a group of friends some of which they might don't want to join in the game. Is there anything else for them to do while they are waiting. Either watching us or staying in a normal pool or a cafe.
Also how long it last ?
RetallackResortSpa
Wadebridge, UK4 contributions
Yes there is plenty of space for spectators around the lake with picnic benches to sit in and a cafe area.
Alternatively they can also try paddleboarding or zorbing on the same lake!
The Aqua Park session last an hour.

Is there a viewing area. £60 for a family of four is not to be sneezed at so I'd like to take a look at the attraction full before I decide to allow my children to use it

Yes there's viewing around the lake and a beach area at the top with tables, deckchairs and a cafe area.

Is this attraction dog friendly? We do not wish to use the restaurant, only the Aqua Park and want to know if spectators can bring a small dog and if there is even an area for spectators?

Hi Lewis, yes we're really dog friendly. There is plenty of space for spectators to watch, with deck chairs, a marquee and plenty of picnic benches for guests to sit on.
