The South Devon Chilli Farm is set in the wonderful South Hams district of South Devon overlooking stunning views. We grow over 100 types of chilli and there is a free-to-visit display in the Summer. The site has a farm shop and cafe selling the products we produce from the chillies we grow on the farm. All the products can be tried in the shop and are served with the meals in the cafe. During the Spring and Summer, we sell a wide range of chilli plants. We also have seeds and chilli-growing equipment. We have a lot of gift ideals that are ideal to take home. Just 5 miles South of the A38.

An unexpected venue for DEVON, in lots of ways, out of place. We perhaps do not rate this as highly as we would thing European (including Ireland and Great Britain) visitors would. This is because we come from tropical areas (Australia and Thailand), where chillis can grow like weeds, and are widely used. So, this was nothing sprecial or extraordinary,... More

Such a great little place, with plenty to buy, particularly Christmas presents for those who are difficult to buy for. There is a great selection of chocolates, which I bought, and the chili chocolate is to die for. There's a lovely little cafe serving great food and drinks.

Went here just because we have seen so much advertising about it and their products are widely sold. Perhaps that over set our expectations and the one polytunnel didn't quite do it for us. However for families with children there was a lovely play area.

We took our family including grandchildren for an hour or so. Helpful staff, spoke to a chap who worked on the farm itself and he was happy to stand and chat about his work and the way the plants are grown etc.Tried the hottest chilli 'the reaper' phew! along with various other tasters of products icluding chocolates and walked around... My family drove almost an hour to visit this place and try their chilli-inspired lunch. Unfortunately we arrived 10 minutes late and were told they stopped doing lunch at 3pm despite us pointing out the effort we'd put in to visit. Very poor service, I would have thought they'd have made some attempt to accommodate us, especially as we had... More

Visited here on Sunday, but to be honest a very average experience, both of the farm and cafe. The main attraction was that it was free parking and entry. We were told this was the best time of year to visit, and there was an impressive variety of colourful chilli plants in the "show tunnel", however the overall experience was... More

We popped by on a drizzly Wednesday afternoon as we fancied an outing. Having driven past the sign for the last 3 years we thought it time to pay a visit (especially as we both like chillis!). As we knew it was a small set up we didn't expect a great deal but had seen online that there was a... More
