    Lovely Local Family Owned Aquarium
Lovely little family run aquarium; we went on a windy Winter day and had a fun time feeding the tame mullett and holding the starfish (which brought back childhood memories). You can also learn some local hisory and see some other amazing sea creatures which I had not even heard of before. Would recommend.

Lovely little place with interactive element!
This aquarium is small but perfect toy formed. We went on a blustery day in Feb half term and it was like a little sanctuary of calm. My daughter loved feeding the mullet and holding a starfish. The hermit crabs are awesome and the information educational. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Fantastic place to visit
Fantastic place to visit with little ones. We held a starfish and feed the fish by hand. A wonderful experience to get up and close to marine life. Staff were super friendly and kind. Best of all we could take our little dog in so we all got to enjoy it.

    Up close and interactive
A really lovely little aquarium - it definitely has the ‘family-owned’ touch that you don’t get in bigger places. We loved feeding the mullet and holding the starfish! It’s good to be able to see the fish etc up close. Totally recommend if you’re in the area!

    Little gem worth a visit
Popped in to the aquarium to see a little more of the local marine life - absolute gem! It’s a small and perfectly formed little venue where we were able to feed the fish (who kissed us!) and also hold a starfish.

    Great aquarium
Really great trip to the aquarium. Kids and adults loved feeding the fish by hand and holding a starfish. It was a bit pricey for a fairly short visit but we thought it was worth it as really unique and fun. Very helpful friendly chap running it too.

A worthwhile visit and loved feeding the fish
Loved this little aquarium in an idyllic location at the end of the Cobb. Its a bit more money than you would expect but hey, you get to feed the tame mullet in the tanks by hand and hold a starfish. Also this aquarium is family owned and they work with the local fishing community to add specimens in the viewing tanks. We got to hold a star fish and find out loads of information about local marine life. Loved the friendly and enthusiastic approach of the team running it. We felt it was a worthwhile visit.

    Perfect small aquarium
What a little gem. The young man behind the desk was so helpful, informative and kind to the smalls in our family. There’s a lovely display of sea life local to the area with the opportunity to feed the grey mullet (very popular activity!) and hold a starfish. It’s not big by any means but it makes up for it in quality.

    Hands-on fun
A smallish aquarium, but it's full of native Dorset species. There are wonderful, colorful information cards, including one on all of the films that have used this location (The Cobb). But the absolute best part is getting to feed the mullets! They don't have any teeth, but have large mouths...it feels strange and weird and cool all at the same time! And there are starfish you can hold! I've never held a starfish before!!! I've been to bigger aquariums but iv never had more fun interacting with the fish. Definitely check them out! Max, the owner, is great 😁

Highlight of our day out in Lyme Regis!
This place is just fantastic! Fun for all ages and we should know as the youngest in our group was 11 and the oldest has a free bus pass! This is such an unusual experience and for that reason alone it's more then worth the money! You get to hand feed fish which in all honesty my son could of spent all day doing! Holding a starfish was such a highlight. This is a family run business, the staff and owner were super friendly and went round talking to everyone. All the fish were fascinating! We learnt loads too! I love that they get their starfish from the fisherman, keep them to two weeks and then release again! The mullet were really funny too 😂 Everything is indoors so that's brilliant given the unpredictable weather. Thanks for a opportunity to do something brand new and fun! We will be back

We visited the Aquarium just after storm Carian at the start of november and it was fantastic! The aquarium is small but perfectly formed and has a range of fascinating animals, such as hermit crabs and lobsters, which you can see up close. We got to hand feed mullet and hold a star fish! Both were awesome, unique experiences, which aren't to be missed. The aquarium itself is in a beautiful setting, positioned on the sea, at the end of the Cobb. This is a short stroll along the beach from the main street. For a few pounds per person, the memories will stay with you long after your visit.

£25 for the family, including our youngest son who was free. Was genuinely shocked when I got in to see that it consisted of one small room only. To left of entrance there are 3 long tanks in a U format with fish inside that you can feed. There is then a run of about 8 small tanks with a few fish in each. My kids got to hold a starfish briefly, we looked at the fish then spent even more money on some shells and left. Whole thing took about 10 minutes. If I'd known how incredibly little there was on offer I would have stayed outside and saved on the entrance fee. Just so disappointing! That people have said befolow that it's good value for money is mind boggling to me!

This is a small and fabulous aquarium with interactive exhibit’s- our children (3 & 6yrs) were absolutely delighted to be able to feed the mullet and hold a star fish. There is plenty to read about the fish, crabs & lobsters in the tanks and snippets of history about the area. All the tanks are lovely and clean and fish look in great condition. The chap running it couldn’t have been nicer and really conveyed his enthusiasm and knowledge. The children also got to choose a shell each as we left, which they were thrilled about and will be perfect for show and tell at school. The place is dog friendly which made it so much nicer for us as a family. We stayed for ages and did not feel rushed in the slightest. I would thoroughly recommend a visit, our children had a wonderful time and so did we. Many thanks!

Lovely staff and loved the personal touches such as feeding fish and holding Star fish but there’s hardly anything to see, maximum 20mins entertainment with little ones. Should be £5 per person not £9 for adults & £7 for children!

Loved it - our son had a great time feeding the mullet, holding a starfish and looking at all the marine animals. Staff were great. Yes it's small but we thought well worth the money.

This place is a little gem! It is a friendly, family run aquarium featuring local marine life. The Mullet feeding was an absolute joy and holding a star fish made my children’s day. It felt personal and we felt like it was a really genuine family business sharing the wonders of the sea around us. Thank you 😊 🐟 🦀

Lovely little find, the guy in charge was very welcoming, let us feed the fish and hold a starfish... great little visit on a wet Friday afternoon. We liked the lobster the best.

The place was a big con, at £9/adult,d as there are only two rooms, and not a great deal of fish. It doesn’t take long to see it all. Mostly all Mullet fish at that.

The one member of staff was very helpful and friendly though.
