Move over Captain Jack Sparrow. Harry and his colleague Bob made our son's one aim of our Dorset holiday come true. A week of bad weather and on Thursday it broke. Lots of fish caught- an exciting (choppy) outing which the children loved. We couldn't recommend Harry and his Crew more. Thank you x

Well the champagneprincess, thank you very much indeed for that, glad to be of service. It was pretty rough when we set out with two dads and two small boys, seven and eight, target to catch the two boys some fish. Now I don't know if your little boy was the lad with Moose,he talked most of the time for three hours, quite a feat. They were really good and didn't complain once, luckily after about half an hour it calmed down a bit but by this time both lads were catching fish, sometimes two or even three at a time and then suddenly it was time to start gutting and filleting and heading home. I'm not sure what my insurance company would think but the two lads steered the boat home. A very good trip all round but unfortunately closely followed by seven very rough days on the trot taking up most of the October half term . Anyway thank you Princess. Harry

4 of us were lucky enough to book a trip with Harry on Tues 29th Sept. Sunny, flat calm day, and we all caught fish. Harry offered to clean and fillet for everyone and also arranged for them to be cooked at a harbourside chippie for those that wanted it. Great trip Harry, thank you

Kentish traveler thank you very much for that, we haven't had much sunny and calm condition that you had, in fact its just kept on blowing and raining. We haven't been out deep sea fishing for at least ten days now, yes its October, not a month known for flat calm seas but the fishing can be so good at this time of year its a pity not be able to get out there. It can only get better. Thank you again Harry

I had the most amazing experience going out fishing on Saturday with the family with Harry May. I went out for a hour trip and caught lots of mackerel. I asked Harry to fillet the mackerel for me which he gladly did and we took it to herbies where they cooked our mackerel up there and then. It was delicious. I highly recommend a trip with Harry may when you visit Lyme regis. This has made my weekend.

It really does not get any better than this. A wonderful morning on the sea. Harry really knows his stuff and and looked after us well through out the trip. His knowledge is extensive and he certainly knows how to find the fish, also, and very importantly, you feel safe with him. We had a really enjoyable time. We were lucky with the weather and with the fish so it was a perfect fishing experience. Harry boat is excellent and provides lots of room to fish, it is also easy to spot as you get to the harbour as he flys a jolly roger. (useful tip there) I don't know how it could have gone better, we got Mackerel, Pout an Undulate Ray and a Conger - we BBQd the Mackerel and Pout and they were fabulous. the other two we put back. Thanks Harry

Hello Theatricalsolutions that really was kind of you to give me such a good review, I remember the morning very clearly and the fish just seemed to jump in over the side of the boat. Catching the undulate ray was excellent and something we rarely get, what a fine looking creature. The conger eel was the icing on a perfect morning. I enjoyed the day as much as you did. Thank you Harry

Arranged (in advance) a family fishing trip on the last day of our holiday for 2.00pm. It was hard to find a parking space and thought we might be late, but communicated with Harry via text on the run up to the trip. Got to the Cobb and text Harry to say we were 2 minutes away, then called to ask where to meet. Harry said go to the end of the Cobb to be met, which we did and this was now one minute past 2.00pm. We waited 5 minutes and tried to call Harry, no answer and nobody called out for us for the trip. Then called Harry at 2.25pm where he simply said we were late and shouldn't have been. Ridiculous!!

I didn't see it quite like that. I warn everyone on how difficult it is sometime to get a parking space and to arrive with time to spare. All our trips leave on the half hour so I just don't understand how E Jason was waiting on the end of the Cobb at 2 oc thinking he had just missed the boat. I'm afraid my bad reviews stem from people not parking up in time and then being unable to get to the meeting point on time , getting angry when they miss the boat and look for a way of getting back at us. We can win them all.
