Really informative to talk to a Miller applying his trade, very knowledgeable about milling and Town's history. Seeing the milling operation shows how important it is to educate children about the past and the importance of keeping traditions and need for slow food. Do visit...More

We stopped here at the end of a lovely walk down the valley. Lunch was really healthy and filling, the rhubarb cider I had could have easily tempted me to stay put in the sunshine for the rest of the afternoon. Don't miss it if...More

We stopped for lunch near the Mill, and on a whim decided to take a look. We were so glad we did. The guided tour is optional, but well worth taking as you get so much more information. It was totally fascinating

The Town Mill is open 11am - 4pm every day. The only proviso is that it's run by volunteers, so there may be the occasional shift that is not covered.
