About
Lyme Regis Brewery is a small craft micro brewery based in the quaint courtyard of the historic Town Mill in Lyme Regis. We make many different styles of craft beer to suit all tastes. Our tap room also serves soft drinks, ciders, wine and other spirits. We run brew days where you can come in and watch the fun, smell the malt and hops and, of course, taste the beers. Sit with a pint of our beer in the Town Mill courtyard and drink in the atmosphere at this historic location. Visit the tap room and try a beer or 3 in our cosy upstairs nook, buy bottles, merch and gifts to take home, or enjoy the sunny, relaxing courtyard in the sunshine. We look forward to seeing you.

Stumbled accross this great Tap House on Google and decided to pay a visit as my Partner and I both like Cider so glad we did, they have a vast selection of there own locally brewed Cider to choose from and also to buy at very reasonable prices. Both our Ciders tasted delicious! will definitely be going 9n again when we next visit Lyme Regis.

    Great Beer!
Really nice little micro brewery! Second time here, and I dare say I'll be back again. Great set up where you can see the brewing equipment, and they're making a great selection of delicious beers. Friendly staff, and a great location.

    Great cosy micro brewery
Great selection of beers available, something for everyone. Very cosy space in the nice mill area of Lyme Regis. Definitely worth a visit but not guaranteed a seat in busier times.

Cosy taproom, delicious beers and a great welcome
A cosy taproom, with a warm welcome and delicious beers, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of choice, seats and a small upstairs area to relax in, music, merchandise to buy and a great back story to their brewing heritage. Over 2 hours or so, there was a great ebb, flow and changeover of visitors, locals, friends and all sorts - sampling the beers, discussing them with the bar team and just relaxing in a hidden away corner of Lyme Regis … make sure you search it out - if you like craft beer, you’ll LOVE this place.

Helpful and knowledgeable staff, great beer
I visited the microbrewery yesterday for a drink and to pick up some take away beer to bring home with me for my husband. Huge thanks to Alan who packed up the 2 boxes and then carried them up the steep steps to the car park. He also gave my friend directions to the car park so that she could get as close as possible with the car. He went above and beyond and it was very much appreciated. The beer was also delicious and I can't wait to see my husband's face when he sees it all! Thanks again 😊

Highlight of a week in Lyme
We spent a happy week in Lyme, visited the brewery tap room every day with and without young children, even when it didn’t rain! Great beer and cider, welcoming friendly staff and relaxed vibe. Took some beer home and will return next trip. Thanks to everyone working there for much enjoyment.

    Lovely atmosphere and great beer!
Our main reason for visiting Lyme Regis was to visit the brewery. We had such a lovely time. The selection and quality of beers from Lyme Regis Brewery and guest breweries was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere inside and situated in a nice courtyard. The staff/owners are very welcoming. Can't wait to return!

The place to be for a pint in Lyme
We had a lovely visit in a gorgeous sunny day. Amazing spot for a pint, they had a great range of local beers and a REALLY good cider too. Great service, such an asset to Lyme. We will definitely be back.

    Great Spot
Another few visits here whilst in Lyme over the last couple of weeks. We tend to start here before heading to the Millside. Beer is key, of course, but the location and atmosphere are equally brilliant. Really great staff. Added bonus is that they allow one - so long as one keeps buying beer - to eat fish and chips from the adjacent takeaway at their tables. A must if in Lyme.

Stopped in to try the beers. Large choice of local brews and guest ales. Sat in the courtyard, but it got pretty chilly, so only had the one. Not sure where you would go in the wet weather as the inside space looked limited.

Two visits to LR Brewery over 24 hours. This has become a terrific location, doubly so with current restrictions. Really good feel to the place. Great atmosphere. Slight gripe, first visit there was only one draught bitter, second visit, no draught bitters. And it is a brewery! Bottled beers were fine, perhaps demand was high, given easing of restrictions?

The brewery is a must visit for any trip to Lyme. The beer is lovely but even if you don’t drink IPA it’s a cute setting to grab a drink. We visited as a big group of friends and booked an area In advance - the staff were really helpful and accommodating making a great evening.

I had the on tap Lyme Regis beer and it was just too citrusy for me sadly. The brewery is a micro one so it's very small and didn't feel very welcoming. There was upstairs seating which also looked like it turned into a cocktail bar which was a good looking spot. But I wouldn't recommend the local beer I'm afraid.

Excellent beer Mike is an outstanding brewer and now brews 14 beers all by himself 💪🏾!! The tap regularly changes these beers on tap so there is always something new to try! The steady habits, in irons and pokers pool are my favourite if you like citra these are ur beers! I first found the brewery in lockdown and haven’t stopped going back! One of the coolest places to drink in Lyme with a beautiful Courtyard for a warm summers day that then twinkles with fairy lights at night! Cool atmosphere and a great hub to meet some of the locals!

This Wass a really good find - been to Lyme Regis a number of times but this trip we actually stayed there for a week at the Mill end of town and whilst wandering around found this great micro brewery.
managed to find several times over the week to stop by for either early evening drink or pre or post dinner drink !! Really enjoyed the atmosphere friendless and helpful staff and of course good beer. Will certainly return

If you like craft beer and banter this is the place for you. On a short stay in Lyme Regis I was able to work my way through a wide variety of beer style the brewery offers, from Table beer (2.5%) to an awesome DIPA (9.2%). The beer quality is ecellent and the staff are really friendly and knowledgable. Definitely a highlight of my staycation. Location by the town mill adds to its charm.

Very popular little micro brewery despite being tucked away in a lovely cobbled yard. Good choice of ales and rustic seating with either benches or barrels. All customers were very respectful of social distancing and queued politely all in anticipation of a good old harty beverage.
