Very clever terracing and landscaping make light of the otherwise steep hills you find everywhere else around Lyme Regis. Gardens are in excellent condition and there are lots of benches to gaze out to sea from.

As our thoughts turned to leaving we came across this garden, more a parkland for me; but saying that, it's a lovely place - more relaxing than the beach (just then), & giving superb views of The Cobb & beaches. Well maintained, signs of recent...More

The gardens are beautifully laid out with commanding views across the town and the bay. Well worth the steepish but short walk. They are very well kept and crazy golf can be found here too.

The gardens have been well thought out. Great planting, good seating, crazy golf if you fancy that! The lovely Hix restaurant in the middle of the gardens and the fabulous SWiM restaurant at the bottom of the gardens on the beach.

We walked back up to our B&B from dinner through these well-kept peaceful gardens, which afford a great view back o part of the town including The Cobb. A nice way to finish the evening.

I don't know for sure, but I cannot imagine you can use a barbecue in the gardens. The gardens are free to enter.
