I run fun Ceramics Workshops for adults & children. Ceramics workshops are great for anyone looking to learn a new skill whilst creating something beautiful and unique in a friendly environment. Whether there's a specific item you wish to make or simply just to have a play and explore the world of clay, I have a range of workshops available designed around you.

We had a lovely, creative afternoon with Katherine , learning how to make and decorate a ceramic bowl. Katherine was an expert teacher. She was well prepared, patient and encouraging. Am looking forward to seeing my bowl once it has been fired.

Fun and creative

We had a great couple of hours creating unique coasters. My husband and I made very different designs and it was fun to have so many options for creativity. Katherine was very knowledgable and her talent is obvious. The workshop was also so lovely. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic five hours.

My friend and I had a five hour bespoke session with Katherine. The whole experience was brilliant. Katherine is so helpful, supportive and a pleasure to watch and hear her ceramic experience. We both made vases. By no means easy but so rewarding and as someone with no artistic merit I was amazed at what I created thanks to Katherine’s patience and advice. Thoroughly recommend a visit to her studio.

You both did great with your vases, yes not an easy item, but by the end you were both so confident and capable with your newly acquired skills. Lovely Birthday Present For My Daughter

My Daughter and I had a wonderfull experience making a flower bowl each, Katherine was extremely attentive and patient with us as it was our very first time making anything from clay especially as she had just returned to teaching small groups after an illness. Really looking forward to seeing our creations once they have been glazed and fired. Would highly recommend the experience for anyone looking to do something a little bit different.

Lovely setting for the ceramics workshop. Katherine put us at ease from the beginning and was really attentive and supportive throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful experience

We had two hours of learning a new skill, making thumb pots. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to see our creations once finished! Katherine was very patient and through with her instructions.

Margaret and I discovered Katherine and her studio earlier this year after we were gifted a morning session and we soon realised out how difficult it is to make those wonderful designs. After our session we noticed a green forest man tile on a wall and in August I bought it as a present.

In September I commissioned Katherine to design and make a leafy thing to put on the wall to compliment our forest man. Three months later the creation was completed, just in time for Christmas and our two pieces look beautiful attached to our lounge wall.

I cannot recommend Katherine highly enough. All of her work is totally unique and provides a real talking point for visitors. Anyone out there wondering what on earth to buy there spouse for their birthday need look no further than this talented ceramicist.

Fantastic Experience

I purchased a 2 hour workshop experience via Buyagift for my mum and daughter for Christmas last year. Katherine allowed me to pay extra so that I could join in also.

You follow a fairy light pathway to Katherine's studio, once inside the time just disappears. Katherine is kind, patient and calm, you totally lose yourself for 2 hours. We all made something different, using various stamps and tools.

I cannot rate this experience highly enough, for anyone who just needs a little me time, please visit Katherine and complete one of her workshops, you will not be disappointed. Plus you have something to keep to remember your day. Win, win.

My friend and I came for a 2 hour workshop on the 29th November. We were made to feel so welcome and was put at ease straight away.
Katherine is a real sweetheart and a fantastic teacher. She talked us through everything and was very patient with us. I honestly would recommend doing workshops with Katherine, I wish I lived nearer so I could do again and again. Thank you Katherine for an amazing experience.
