Midges midges and more midges! Couldn't see the loch for them. Looking at photos and comparing with other Highland delights seems very over rated to me and not worth the lengthy journey. No refreshment facilities and toilets held hostage by;yes; MIDGES!!!

There are many access points to the loch and every time you get a different view. Stunning scenery with the mountains in the background and the dark water. Lovely secluded beaches and bays and excellent walking opportunities.
