About
The Dragon's Tooth estate is a beautiful, relaxing place to visit : nestled at the foot of mighty Ben Vhair, in parkland near the sea and all at the foot of the historic valley of Glencoe, near Fort William. It's not just the views that are amazing! Discover the romantic "RiverBeds": wee luxury and en-suite lodges, perched about a river (some with outside hot tubs!). Or play the perfect, 9-hole golf course (listed the No 1 9-hole in Scotland!). There are Segway Tours, access to over 20 other activities, plus welcoming Cafe and fascinating Garden Centre. Make the most of your stay in the Glencoe area with a visit to this special place.

We visited Dragon’s Tooth today and enjoyed a great round of golf in spectacular surroundings. It has only 9 holes but with different tees on the back 9 it is definitely a good test. Even better we stopped halfway through for coffee and cake!

Interesting little golf course with a stunning backdrop!

A weekend visit to Ballachulish meant an opportunity to play the fabulously titled 'Dragon's Tooth Golf Course.' The par is 67, and all the holes play less than 400 yds although one or two felt a bit longer! It's an interesting setup with tees for the front 9 introducing you to the holes and then the second time around presented different tees from a variety of different angles and often increased the length of the hole - a really nice touch. The course itself is well presented and tended. I loved several of the par 3's,especially the 18th: a 198 yd drive through the gap in the trees, over the stream, over the road, avoid the bunker at the front of the green and don't over hit as there's a steep bank with heavy rough waiting to swallow your ball. It's a very 'laid back' setup; play the front 9, go into the cafe for a coffee and a scone and then back out to complete your round! A really relaxing way to play a game of golf! The cafe is also very pleasant with a great selection of food and drink, comfy seats and an outside deck with circular bench seating and tables with parasols. Tips: 1. Take time to go forward from the tee to view the hole and potential lines. 2. Take a few minutes on each hole to view the incredible scenery - it changes all the time. 3. Go back again and play it again - I know I will.

Lovely scenic golfcourse

This is a very lovely 9/18 holes golf course (you do the same holes, but 2nd round from different tees). Some fairways are pretty narrow and the rough is well....rough lol. With our handicaps some holes proved challenging. The views we had from all holes makes it a really lovely course to play no matter your handicap!

Great instruction in a stunning location. Leo was very thorough and clear with his instructions and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our session, he had great knowledge of the area and trail. All staff were very friendly, we would definitely recommend Dragon's Tooth Segway.

Compact little golf course in a beautiful setting

Conveniently located on the fort William/Oban intersection outside Kinlochleven. It lies underneath the Dragons tooth mountains on the one side and Loch on the other. £20 for visitors including a trolley with a pleasant clubhouse coffee shop restaurant overlooking the 9/18 Green It also offers other facilities like Segway and mountain biking well worth a visit

The grand finale to our Scottish golfing holiday around the North Coast. The course was well maintained, the holes each with their own challenges, great value for money with the option to play 18 holes. The backdrop of mountains was spectacular while opposite views of Loch Linnhe completes the picture. A real gem.
