For my sister’s 40th birthday she wanted to go climb Buachaille Etive Beag. The previous year she had gone up to and had a meal at the Clachaig Inn, and really wanted to stay there after the walk. Being a fair weather walker I happily agreed to go do the walk and then stay at the Inn, opting out of... More

even better in the snow and ice as nobody around, but next time I'll bring an ice axe and crampons. The peaks can be very dangerous without them

Absolutely stunning scenery and on a bike it really puts you in your place a beautiful flowing descent down to Glencoe village and Ballachullish! Must visit!

This is my favour sightseeing route where I went whenever I got time to travel and especially I got visitors from overseas. I always like to go through Glencoe from north to south because I felt the other way round is not as good.

When we arrived the weather was grey but dry - scenery was astonishing and the facilities were excellent.

Plenty of tracks in the area so you can explore on foot or bike, though make sure you can use a map and know what you are doing. Numerous parking spots by the A82 mean you can start well above sea level.

First time using the cable car to go up the top, which was heart in the mouth stuff, till I realised some of the kids were doing without the safety barrier down.....fantastic trip up once I manned up a bit!!! There were mostly bikers careering down in once you got up the top. It was definitely well worth the trip... More

Not being prepared for skiing on our visit to the area, we decided to ride the chairlift regardless. It is great fun up there in the snow, and the views would be spectacular even without snow. Really nice cafe at the bottom, too, to warm up in upon your return. The ride up is fun in itself. Well worth the... More

We passed this way whilst doing the West Highland Way. I would be back more often if it was closer! There a miles of stunning scenery only occasionally interrupted by man's incursions. This area merits a leisurely visit.

Good road, amazing scenery, a photo be shot in every direction more off road parking, a little more warning for stopping vehicles. (just putting it out there) Breathtaking in places the hues and colours changing every minute, with the clouds streaming across hill faces. Hauntingly beautiful, threatening at times
