Glencoe "valley": Fantastic views of this beautiful mountain terrain. I would suggest the drive north (and west) on the A82 (head north from Tyndrum). One of the more scenic drives in Scotland!! There are road side parking lots to stop and take in the breath taking views!

The whole area is beautiful but the Glencoe Mountains are just stunning. Very intimidating and mysterious and full of Scottish history.

I love Glencoe Mountain and I am not just saying that because I live in Glencoe. The ride up on the chairlift is a little scary the first time (especially coming down) and the views you get if you can keep your eyes open are wonderful! There are places to get something to eat and drink, and lots of great... More

To travel up the mountain on the chair lift was a great experience and at only £10pp worth every penny. STUNNING VISTA at the top and cold. Don't forget to bring good ski wear as the temperature drops like a stone. I would have given 5 stars but for the poor condition of the site with discarded materials scattered on... More

I visit or travel through Glencoe several times a year and it never fails to amaze me. It's is absolutely stunning in every season with the changing colours of the area. Several parking areas with great photo opportunities and several paths leading into the actual Glen. My partner can't walk for hours unfortunately, but last week we drove to the... More

For my sister’s 40th birthday she wanted to go climb Buachaille Etive Beag. The previous year she had gone up to and had a meal at the Clachaig Inn, and really wanted to stay there after the walk. Being a fair weather walker I happily agreed to go do the walk and then stay at the Inn, opting out of... More

even better in the snow and ice as nobody around, but next time I'll bring an ice axe and crampons. The peaks can be very dangerous without them

Absolutely stunning scenery and on a bike it really puts you in your place a beautiful flowing descent down to Glencoe village and Ballachullish! Must visit!

This is my favour sightseeing route where I went whenever I got time to travel and especially I got visitors from overseas. I always like to go through Glencoe from north to south because I felt the other way round is not as good.

When we arrived the weather was grey but dry - scenery was astonishing and the facilities were excellent.
