Nestled on the edge of Newton Stewart our modern grain to glass distillery pumps out gallons of tasty stuff and delivers panoramic views over the Galloway Hills. Here you can learn about our unique distilling approach and enjoy a taste of our award winning Hills & Harbour Gin. Enjoy a tour of our distillery, and learn how we make our very own spirit from scratch and the process for making our gin. After the tour you can then enjoy a perfect serve of our Hills & Harbour Gin. Hungry? Our Galloway Picnic concept brings you a unique taste of Galloway from the region's best producers. Grab a basket and a chopping board, then help yourself to a range of cheeses, smoked goods, fresh breads and a range of preserves. We will also be serving up some fantastic artisan roasted coffee from The Good Coffee Cartel based in Glasgow. Alongside our Galloway menu we’re also shaking up a range of tasty cocktails at the bar for everyone who likes a tipple.

We found this purely by chance, and are so pleased we did not miss out, fantastic distillery tour and tasting afterwards. So impressed we came home with two bottles of their Hills & Harbour Gin.

Informative and interesting tour and great tasting gin. Really enjoyable and the gin was very nice too, so we enjoyed a gin and tonic after our tour and bought a bottle too. Highly recommend doing this if you're in the area!

We were visiting friends in the area who suggested this tour. Interesting concept behind the company and their products. Really friendly, informative tour from Andy. Would definitely recommend doing this if your in Galloway!

We’ve stopped by the distillery after trying the Hills & Harbor Gin in a bar few days ago. The tour is informative, the tasting alone is worth the stop. We’ve enjoyed a refreshing gin & tonic overlooking the Galloway forest and mountains. Absolutely recommend.

We were given the tour round the distillery by Craig Rankin who is the distillery manager. Each of the processes was enthusiastically described in detail and took us from grain to beer to whisky to vodka and finally to the Hills & Harbour gin. It...More

We did the tour and tasting, the tour itself was eye opening, the amount of work that goes into producing the spirit was fascinating and it is this process (and not buying the spirit in) that sets itself apart from most other gins in the...More

A secret little find for a surprise birthday treat for my daughter. We had expert hosts who explained the distilling process, we tasted gins and then finished making some of our own cocktails. The gin is delightful and definitely worth a visit! Highly recommended!

Hi there, Thanks for the enquiry. Our tour cost is £10 per person. That includes a 40 minute tour and a gin and tonic at the end of the tour. Hope that helps :)
