This is written over two days. Went one day with a friend whom I hadn’t seen since before March. She had pre booked a table in the main cafe. Cafe is really spacious so didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Great hygiene practices in place and a gentle request to put your mask on if going to look at the cake counter for example. We both ordered a coronation chicken sandwich on brown bread. It came with a lovely dressed side salad, some coleslaw and a few crisps. The bread was so fresh and the filling was generous. For afters I had a delicious hot chocolate and a huge slice of coffee and walnut cake . The cake was tasty but far too much for me! Next day I came to meet with my sister and brother in law and we came as ‘walk ins’ and sat in the cafe area where the soft play section is. I found this actually better than the main cafe which is very noisy and not great if your hearing can’t cope with background noise. Hubby and I had the main course of the day which was a chicken breast with haggis, peas and sautéed potatoes. It was absolutely delicious. I had a hot chocolate and a delicious Caribbean slice for afters and I was so full I didn’t eat fir the rest of the day!! Spotlessly clean, lovely waitresses, toilets excellent, good parking and a nice shopping area that doesn’t sell tat!! Highly recommend!

The price for kids is very overpriced for what there is especially the food for kids, main meals are also very expensive for very basic meals that are clearly pre heated and not made fresh especially the bacon. They have clearly spent more money on the look of the place than staff as it is pretty slow, dont know if that is from the servers or the kitchen but the food took a while to get to us and it wasn't that busy in the building just more staff standing about talking than serving. Cant say we will be back but I feel like people should know.

What a fantastic find! Amazing facility for children & adults. It very rare to have a combination of delicious homemade food (my kids loved the pizza & we had quiche- superb), spotlessly clean and a place where the children can really enjoy all the activities. I wish all childrens activity centres were like this!

Myself and Fiona visited Saturday 29th August 2020. No effort has been spared making this a quality venue. The Covid arrangements were professional and we were able to sit down for a cracking meal at lunchtime with super views into the lush Galloway landscape.
