Lots of unusual trees in a lovely setting by the loch. It doesn't take a huge amount of time to go round the entire place but the cost is so reasonable and we had the entire place to ourselves. There is quite a narrow vehicle...More

Decided to visit after reading a few trip advisor reviews, so pleased we did. A beautiful sunny morning and we had the place to ourselves. Surprised at the age and size of some of the trees. Worth every penny of the £3 per person admission.

Spent a very pleasesant couple hours strolling through these gardens as it was only a short drive from Ullapool. We were the only ones there. Amazing trees and some beautiful rhodendrum plants, not all were in bloom but the ones that were were gorgeous. Give...More

This small tucked-away garden is a hidden treasure. There are some spectacular specimens of trees from around the world, and amazings views along Loch Broom. The garden is well looked after and is a pleasant, quiet sort of place. We are never disappointed.

A big hard to park in the walled garden because of the narrow entrance, but definitely worth a look at this natural garden. Entrance is free but please make a donation to keep it going. Amazingly interesting trees in an informal garden with different paths...More

This little treasure has been gradually restored, and is well worth a visit. There are some fine specimens here, well marked. The pathways are nicely laid out, and the map is quite helpful.

Loved it! We were "stranded" in Ullapool by snow and happened by the forest. Did all of the trails and then some. Beautiful and serene and educational.
