If you are in the Inverness area, make sure you stop at the Glen Ord Distillery. Sample their 15 year old Singleton single malt as it is fantastic! Puts a lot of other single malts to shame!

Excellent tour, incredible the amazing smells you can feel (some of then not so good but makes part of the process). The guide was nice and knowledgeable, explain to us every little detail of the art of turning water and barley in whisky. Jesus Christ...More

I'm quite new to the joys of whiskey, so this was a real eye-opener. Our guide, Sally, was very knowledgeable about the whiskey-making process, the history of the distillery, and the brand. We were guided through the various areas of the distillery, and experienced the...More

In short: ask for Charlie! He's a fantastic guide, made a great job! We've been visiting more than 30 distilleries before, but Charlie's explanations and mood were outstanding! Thanks, Charlie, hope to come back next year!
