Greta little shop and showroom for knitwear and Harris tweed. very helpful staff. Purchased a mans jumper which was half the price of what you would pay at Brora.

Easy to miss as unpretentious outside. Good selection of tweed and tweed articles, impossible not to buy! Explanation in museum made it all come to life.

A bit out off the way but a fair sized shop with small museum and exhibition. Lots of souvenirs in differing tweeds and price ranges. Enjoyed browsing and bought a few gifts too.

interesting to visit if in the area, just a couple of miles down the very scenic Golden Road off the main road. Also worth going to another place where you can watch a weaver at work.

Pilgrimage as homage to my mother who was a bespoke tailored years ago - her name was Iris - so it was so bizarre to find the place surrounded by flag irises! Loved the exhibition and also the show of old and modern designs. Had...More
