Amazing beach as all the reviews suggest. We luckily got a warm day and beach was still super quiet.

Must be one of the loveliest beaches in the world-golden sand stretching for miles and turquoise waters. Photos don’t do it justice.

This is undoubtedly a special beach but my personal favourite in the area is Scarista. Hard to believe that a one small corner of Scotland can have two amazing beaches within a stone’s throw of one another. Luskentyre appears more popular and for me is...More

Secluded, along a scenic single track no -through road, this beach is at the very end of the road. It has a car park and toilet, and after a short walk through the dunes, you see a vast beach of pale sand. The views over...More

Coming from Ireland I have seen some amazing beaches, but I have to consider that Luskentyre is probably the finest I've ever seen. White sand, sea of every colour from green through turquoise to deep blue. Be sure to stop and enjoy a walk.

Incredible beach, must be one of the most beautiful in the world. Breathtaking views, white sand, dunes and mountains in the distance, amazing colour of water. Quiet, peaceful, and unspoiled. Magical place, not to be missed.

Most amazing place and lives up to all the photos when you see it in reality. A must do when on Harris and especially to watch the sunset behind Taransay.

There have been several overnight campervan pitches built in fantastic locations, there are a couple on the Luskentyre road and some more overlooking Huishnish. Unfortunately I didn't notice electric hook ups but then again... More
