Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very rude woman in charge of the wool shop told my daughter off very aggressively when she went in. 'You can't come in I've got someone in here you'll have to wait'. My daughter hadn't seen the sign saying only one customer allowed. There was no need for this. Spoilt our trip to an otherwise lovely little town and interesting market. We won't be back. If you can't be polite to your customers you don't deserve any.

Social Distancing Rules are strictly enforced in Cardigan Guildhall Market, which is why we have the lowest infection rates in the country. I am sorry that your daughter didn't see the signs but in these times it pays to read the signs and obey the rules.

We didn't fully understand how it worked in the market hall. We went through the gate at Pendre to the market hall. It was closed, but we took the elevator with a walker that had all kinds of floors and store names on it. On the 1st floor we saw a few messy shops with all kinds of goods. Take that small elevator to the 3rd floor. Saw a card shop with all kinds of other stuff. Yes, even broadcasting equipment in the same store and after a few empty shops there was another antique shop with all kinds of stuff. Then we took the elevator again and got out on the floor where we could go to the parking lot. Then we saw that we were coming out of the Canolfan Teifi and Shopping Arcade building which is next to the Guildhall Market. We were a bit fed up with it and did not look further into how exactly it worked and whether the market was closed. In any case, that shopping center isn't much use. Cluttered shops and lots of vacancies.

This was like a smaller version of many of the London indoor markets, traditional stalls selling food, vacuum goods, gifts etc. Well worth a look around if you're in Aberteifi and the plus side is that it allows dogs, which is a pleasant change nowadays.

We visited on a Tuesday, early afternoon. Hungry and in need of a drink we waited at the cafe for five minutes whilst being ignored by the lady sat in a nearby chair. We only realised she was staff when she told us curtly that they had finished serving food and their drinks machine wasn't working. We walked off and had a quick look around and passing as we left saw she had made drinks for two who had joined her at her table. Won't bother visiting their again. What a pointless idea to have a cafe that never serves, except themselves. Not worth a visit.

Been to this cafe on a yearly basis and the staff are friendly and the food is great, i can assure you that the cafe often closes at 2pm and often make the staff a drink at the end of day due to them not being able to leave their stalls in business hours. I know this from experience as last year i went around 1.30pm with my husband and daughters and even though they were clearing up they still made my daughter a sandwich and we had drinks even gave my dog free water! We were there till around 2.15pm and were never made to feel uncomfortable and were very polite when we left, so people who feel the need complain at petty things need a grip on life!! Keep up the good work guys!

This is a gem of a find. The minted lamb burgers are to die for. The dish is an absolute bargain for £3.50 served with a delicious salad and home made coleslaw. We were a little reluctant to write a review as we want to selfishly keep it to ourselves. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful. It is our treat when we head west to our caravan in Tresaith
