Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A refurb is planned but delayed by covid.
Small market. Very interesting building. Cafe and sewing shops plus a very interesting bus history display.

My friend bought some very stylish handmade finger less gloves & head band from Dancing Sheep...Guild Hall and they are wonderful, very classy and one of a kind.
Definitely worth a visit and would be great to be able to buy online! :)

Great place to spend a short amount of time. Lovely original art work available to buy from local artists.

A nice place for a wander round although not brilliant lighting and a bit grubby in places.
Dog friendly though.

Thank you for your review. It's a very old building and impossible to keep pristine, but watch this space. New refurbishment coming next year.

lots of stalls, antiques, haberdashery, army surplus , wool, lots to browse, and the only place we found that sold welsh souvenirs!

Set over 2 floors this indoor market provides a really good variety of stalls from crafts to everyday bits and pieces that can be hard to find elsewhere. We particularly liked the syrian food stall, good value and gorgeous food. We missed the cafe, it had just closed but again it was offering something different. Overall well worth a visit

Very rude woman in charge of the wool shop told my daughter off very aggressively when she went in. 'You can't come in I've got someone in here you'll have to wait'. My daughter hadn't seen the sign saying only one customer allowed. There was no need for this. Spoilt our trip to an otherwise lovely little town and interesting market. We won't be back. If you can't be polite to your customers you don't deserve any.

Social Distancing Rules are strictly enforced in Cardigan Guildhall Market, which is why we have the lowest infection rates in the country. I am sorry that your daughter didn't see the signs but in these times it pays to read the signs and obey the rules.

Amazing little find during our stay in Cardigan. We found this by chance and then my wife discovered Totem (Basement Floor), which is an amazing little store selling crystals and incense and other amazing items. We must have spent a small fortune there, but everything was very reasonable priced & Jo the owner was very kind & knowledgeable and knew exactly where her crystals were sourced! Most are sourced from Madagascar : )
There are other stores there selling antiques, jewelry, wool & textiles...
